  • In this video, we will explore how to use Midi Guitar 2 with Cakewalk. We will explore ways to use it as a plugin as well as ways you can use it to record midi using a regular guitar. In addition to demonstrating all of this, I will show you the difference between the plugin and the stand-alone version.

    I spent about 2 hours trying to figure out how to record midi from Midiguitar 2 into Cakewalk. Should've just popped on and watched this video. Super helpful video thanks!

    Very helpful.. was searching for ways to get midi out from the MG2 outputs.. searched the forums.. oy.. the fix was so easy.. set the control on the MG2 plugin and select midi output.. THANK YOU !!!!

    EXTREMELY Helpful- thanks! I opened up PowerPoint, started and stopped your video many times, and took lots of screen shots and notes for future reference. Prior to seeing your video I couldn't figure out how to hear the original guitar part and MIDI part at the same time. The guys in Denmark who developed MIDI Guitar 2 owe you a big vote of thanks!
