I have a brand new 2023 350 SX-F coming in a few weeks, can you tell me exactly what you greased and where? Also, did you use Bell grease or another brand? Which grease? I saw another video where the dude literally tears the entire bike down and I certainly don't wish to do that nor do I have the tools to do it. THANKS! CONGRATS And good luck with your new bike!

I used the bell ray waterproof grease, i greased each axel, the steering stem and linkage. The steering stem looked super intimidating but was honestly not that bad at all. All you really need is a ratchet and some metric sockets. I would juts recommend having someone with you because lining the forks back up is a pain by yourself

@@brandongambrell hey man, thanks so much for the lengthy description! I really appreciate it. I see most everyone uses the Bell Ray waterproof grease. You actually took the tires off correct? No issues lining the rear tire back up? (I know there are notches so when you tighten the chain). Thanks again!

Yeah I completely removed the front but as far as the back goes, i juts slid the axel out and greased it real quick while someone held the wheel in the same position and slid the axel back in. I was worried about losing chain position as well so that was a quick way around that.

@@brandongambrell Yep, that was what I was thinking regarding the back wheel, the front is no problem but the back we have to worry about the alignment. Thanks again.....how are you liking the bike? I opted for the 350 because I weigh 215lbs and I'm a life long rider and so I was reading forums saying most folks over 200lbs may want to look into a larger bike. (considering I read that the 450 is set up for a rider up to approx. 170-185lbs...and I'm 30lbs over what a 450 is set up for) 450 is also way too much for my skill level (I'd say advanced C rider) so I opted for the 350. What's the power like? I'm guessing it's incredible and smooth? You diggin' it thus far?

@@brutus6328 love it man. I’m avidly against 450s and don’t think anyone should ride them personally and my skill level made the 250 a no brainer for me. I met a guy today with 2023 350 and me absolutely loves it. The power is super smooth and I don’t shift nearly as much as my Yamaha. And the chasis makes cornering a breeze. I just wish they would release some plastics for it so I could get rid of the orange😂

Everything on my 2021 350 was greased, was a big waste for me to tear it apart
