So glad you decided to read Assassins Blade first! Thats 100% the best reading order. Also, please do the tandem read for ToD and EoS. Its complicated but beyond worth it!
I think the world-building and background information were most challenging for me in this series. I feel like I never fully grasped the background of the world or the history and all that. I just ended up mostly confused about it and even to the end, I don't feel like that changed.
I am exactly where u are in reading this series but I haven’t finished heir of fire and it’s so hard for me to pick it back up after only reading 100 pages of it last month, I just find this series to be a bore thus far 😴 I am going to push through and resume next month and hope that it gets better. But I am so glad to hear someone else out there feels the same as I do lol
I enjoyed the first two books, the prequel and tower of dawn the most. I pretty much hated the other books and I ended up DNF-ing kingdom of ash like 700 pages in.
I'm happy to report that I am now on the tandem read and the witches have become my favorite plot line. in fact, I'm a bit upset that we aren't getting more of them so...i have evolved 😊
i know! i mean mostly my fault for looking and at least it was only the first book and nothing more major! now I'll be staying away from looking at ANYTHING until I finish the series 😂
Sarah J. Maas supports Israel and their occupation and the genocide of the Palestinian people. Just stating in case anyone else is against colonialism and genocide.

I will be reading this soon and I'm starting with this in the series so I'm hoping it goes well!!

I felt the same exact way currently a little over 1/2 on Queen of Shadows and now i'm obsessed, curious to see where your thoughts are now!
Guys can i read one of this series separately or i should get the full series and start reading it by this system ?????

What am I looking at at 5:10, is that actually what it looks like outside where you live?
That's a computer screen
The fact you straight out dismissed the witches story breaks me. 😢

@aspensarchive It's hard because everything is flying around somethings!

Can you tell me where you found this information?
That has nothing to do with the quality of her books. You can still love her books and have a different opinion on her as person.
