I had those mirrors on my 2017 and had to buy a wire harnesses to have them work properly. I also bought a jumper wire to have the cargo lamps turn on along with the lights in the mirrors turn on when I put in reverse.
I think the MOST affordable one is the one I stole off a locomotive last nite when it was parked on a siding. ( I think some train people are still looking for me )
I was pressed for time, looks like a fun video. Comparison for before and after is at 9:20. There was a demo within the first 5 minutes, I forgot the time for that. I watched, skipped through the video, the only horn sound demo is at 9:20 to 9:32. Somewhere around there.
Gloves are used when working on cars to keep your hands clean as well as not getting fingerprints all over things you are touching. I highly doubt these guys are worried about Coronavirus.

Boost auto parts sells door wiring harness kits for the gm trucks to make switchbacks like factory when truck wasn’t equipped with them from the factory. Kit runs about $50
Lol i just did this switchback on my f150 and i definitely was nervous taking the mirrors off but i learned to use a flathead on the bracket that connects to the back of the mirror and comes off pretty easy

Pretty much all horns call for 5/16 airline, 3/8 is the biggest you can do safely without worrying about damaging horns over time, also all the airtanks are 3/8 already so you would have to find an adapter for horn and compressor which would be a hassle
@@FinnaBin I have a semi 8 gallon tank in my truck with 1/2 hose and fitting with no adapter and works good. It's the best thing ever, you can always buy more horns.

Should ditch the solenoid and go air valves like air bags use those solenoids are prone to going bad. Check out Mazzula they have some bad ass prerunners also are located in Highland ca

If Chris wants the lights in his grill and he doesn’t want them to stand out he can slightly tint them with like window tint
Get a 1/2" air valve with 1/2" hose and it will be louder than a train horn

I switched the door harness on my truck. Found a decent priced OEM one on eBay and it hasn't failed yet I didn't have to do all kinds of wiring
