DOUBLE-HOPAK by BARVINOK, Toronto Ukrainian Festival 2019

A double-view of Barvinok's famous double-level double-Hopak, taken on Sept 15, 2019, marking the finale of the 2019 Toronto Ukrainian Festival.
There was no festival in 2020 and most cultural events were severely curtailed - essentially banned. Remember the life, the energy, the closeness, the community, the interactions, the civil liberties which we once had, which we had taken for granted. Now we exist in frightened bubbles of segregation in a Canadian quasi-police state.
