This one is impossible to get,this guy absolutely killed it , I mean there is not one flaw in his performance, he could sing with foreigner, and karaoke well everything on idol is karaoke, so frustrating, I would love to hear him again
Right🤷♀️... yes his audition was a little showy, but he hit every note. The judges should have given him another chance to sing without his mother present.
This show is infuriating, they send home individuals with real raw talent!!! I know they can only pick 100 but he sang his heart out!!

I couldn't agree more! They put these people through that were literally tone deaf! The judges even coached these lousy singers and gave them a chance to sing another song!

Identity of who you are as a singer not just a karaoke singer. Thats is why an artists will always be remembered because of their identity.

Loved your performance on American Idol. Couldn't believe the judges sent you home! Lionel knew what he was talking about, but Luke and Katy, what on earth were you thinking? You were way better than some of the other performers they have put through so far this season!

He's definitely a talented singer, which this show is supposed to be about. If they didn't like the style, then they should have had him sing another song to see what else he can do. I think they made a bad choice regarding Mikey!

Even though he didn’t go through I know he will go far in life and he will be discovered. The bond he and his mom has is so sweet and even though they didn’t put him thru that should not discourage him. They got it wrong this time with this one but hopefully he’ll be back.
He needs to head on over to the VOICE and win that showing how stupid Luke and Katy are. Would love to see Blake rub it in Luke’s face.

The judges failed to recognize that this is a talent, his song, style, voice are different from the others. We need another flavor like him, others are the same bananas.

Moe outsung some of the other contestants they put through, based on personality more than command of their voice, which is very unfortunate. Keep on singing, Moe. I actually think your place may be in musical theater - you have the technique and range for it.

I think mom was a distraction, their vibe was kinda creepy and as Luke said Mikey’s audition was kinda loungey. There have been great singers who are more musical theatre type performers, not AI so-called types.He would’ve had a better shot if he was on his own minus mom imo.

What is wrong with these judges! This young man was one of the best this evening. This is the second time this season that they cut someone who should have gone through.
Cannot even BELIEVE they passed this guy up! He was like an Adam Lambert or BETTER! I guess he was just too normal. He is the WHOLE PACKAGE!! What a miss!

@RA28 I'm an 80s child so I LOVED the song! The judges should consider their audience of viewers, not just their own preferences. But, I agree, if he did a ballot, or a more serious song he would of been in. But also notice, the judges favored other people by giving them the opportunity to sing a second song, even coaching them in order to put them through! He was a normal, talented, white, straight male, who loved his mom, and his audition was based on merit, and not a tragic story. No disrespect to those who experienced tragedies, but it's become the "American Under Dog" not American Idol.

They have given less talented people a second song. And it’s true if he had some tragic story like his mom dying and how she used to play piano for him they would have put him straight thru. Sad that someone happy with their life are sent home. Maybe he should have made up a story about his poor dog that died when he was a kid.
They got this one wrong. They weren't even listening to him. They were watching his mother BANG the piano. Get him away from his mother, and he could probably do really well. Some of the people they put through aren't nearly as good as he is, but I guess he doesn't have a tragic backstory.

Really good voice. I think the judges were distracted by mom. Had he used the regular pianist they probably would have put him through :-(. I usually love these three, but they've dug deeper with some with less natural potential

only they didn't choose anyone like him at all. they made a HUGE mistake not choosing him, as I just ranted about in my own frustrated post about their very bad decision to send him home.
@@DiandraStarShine yea, I agree. But I'm not sure if we see all the auditions or even if we see them in order...but saying he's karaoke is silly...all he had to do was throw in a few runs or change the melody or tempo and they couldn't make that claim

Well I'm shocked because they let a lot less accomplished singers through. His mom was a fantastic pianist but maybe it took away from the focus being on him as a singer.. it was just weird...
