One correction: that number next to the zone designation is not how many Klim points there are available to collect in that zone.
Rather, that number is how many Klim points you need to collect in order to portal out of that zone.
Great video. I agree about not changing the difficulty for losing items. This game is so intense and makes me really try not to die. it makes it more immersive. If nothing happened when you fail then I don't think I'd find it intense at all. Hell, people could just go on a run, loot all the best stuff they want, then purposefully fail to get to garage faster lol.
I think that is what players do not realize often, that the fear of losing stuff is a very powerful gameplay thing. Like in Alien Isolation or Dayz. If Alien Isolation would have a quicksave it would be much easier.
i just dont like getting punished for dying so i turned it off cause i just dont like that i do still play the intended way though cause purposefully failing to go home isnt fun either
I have the game set to a slightly-harder-than-default difficulty, and on the last run, I failed my return. It is possible to get your stuff. I went back to the junction and was able to get my items back. Go to the grave marker.

This was quite useful thank you, I do have a question did you ever run in to a level that teleports the anchors and will not keep them in the same spot for more than 5 seconds? If so how did you deal with it?
I think only the reported location on the map changes, the actual location of the anchor won't change. In that case you have to drive slow and look around, sometimes the light beams can be spotted emitting from the anchor. Or you can unlock a device to detect anchors
@@caracal3892 yeah I retired the level and in one of the locations was a tiny faded flashing dot witch was the anchor. I think a another Medford would be to bring that device that shows you where a anchor is on foot

what is this language
The menu language is german. I normally play on english in all games. However the german translation is surprisingly good so I left it on german.

Man they really do not explain the basics very well. I mean I don’t want my hand held but this is a little weird
I think the way traveling on the map works is so weird is because they likely had to change it around in playtesting to keep it challenging. I think the original plan was for players to just move everywhere they want, then they had to make it work with the storms, and klim points.
It Lim tech… it is Lim energy K is the unit of measurement Lim is the type of energy. I can’t listen to this while you make it into a word…
I was wondering why the k in kLim was written in small letters.
