I was there, as well. My issue was there was a limited amount of time and she was in effect censoring him. Once it was agreed that he would discuss it I would have preferred her to sit down and let him talk.

Bitcoin is exciting because it shows how cheap it can be.Bitcoin is better than currency in to that you don't have to be physically in the same place and of course,for large transactions, currency can get pretty

Well I think it's working there may be other currencies like it that may be even better.But in the meantime, there's a big industry around Bitcoin-people have made fortunes off Bitcoin, some have lost money . it's is volatile,but people make money off volatility too.
It is not a speculative investment even though it is being used as such by other people. As Bitcoin network grows the value of Bitcoin grows. As people move into Bitcoin for payment and receipts they stop using US Dollars,Euros and Chinese Yuan which in the long-term devalues these currencies.

What is a good resource to understand why Jack is ignoring other coins like ETH or ADA? Will proof-of-stake always be vulnerable and corruptible compared to proof-of-work?
Hopefully not, it's more a factor of how they are not as decentralized, only BTC is truly decentralized thus incorruptible. Alts are generally company founded and particularly when they are new are more centralized because of their nature and to allow them to upgrade. There is only one BTC.

BTC is a decentralised network with super narrative that Jack sees as great potential to make him tons of money by centralising it via the lightning network, just like Twitter. I’ve kinda backed my hate on jack dorsey just because he sold out his company to some sketchy people. Was it right to do that? 100% no! Perhaps some people do not realize that Trump broke the rules that private company Twitter laid out in advance of his joining. They bent their own rules repeatedly by allowing him to stay active and even forgave multiple offenses. Eventually, rules need to be enforced do a system to work, so they banned him. Real peace is not the absence of conflict, it is the presence of justice.
