Natalia is an excellent resource - she's helpful and generous with her time, I highly recommend seeking her advice before purchasing a Japanese import.
Refreshing honesty from a dealer, I wish I had seen this video before i bought my 2005 NE51X from another 'Russian' dealer.. Nothing but a headache concerning the seating capacity certification and the missing 3 child restraint anchors, Thank you Natalia. I am certain all your readers here are buoyed by your candour and valuable advice..
This video has been incredibly helpful for someone new to importing, like myself. I appreciate you sharing this information. I'm interested in purchasing an Audi from Japan, but since it's not manufactured there, I'm curious if it would incur higher customs duties in Australia. Can you provide some insights on this matter?
Excellent points and extremely helpful for people importing, and even buyers looking at Estimas already registered in Australia. I am amazed how rusty some of the Estimas are in videos made showing (quite new ones) being worked on underneath, in Japan. I also, was very worried about mileage tampering, and yours was the first website I came across insisting buyers check, and then offering the very tools that allow you to! Much appreciated.
What an honest video from a dealer! Imported a few cars from the US and one had belonged to a cigar smoker. Had to replace the headliner as it was yellow and i the car never really lost its unique smell.
thank you very much, all our alphards are here: www.bestpeoplemovers.com.au/our-vehicles/toyota-make/alphard-model/ and vellfire: www.bestpeoplemovers.com.au/our-vehicles/toyota-make/vellfire-model/
I recent visited a dealer with many hiace vans. They all had a damp chemical smell. The dealer says they are sprayed with chemicals for bio security. The wood panels inside showed water spray of some sort also. Every van smelled the same and am sure would give you a head ache siting in there for 10 minutes. What do you know on this? Are all imports stinky for a while? Great video 👍
Hi Hope you will be OK. I want to import used cars from Japan to Australia. Please facilitate and inform me about complete details. Thanks with regards?
Hey Natalia, That was a very honest video. Thanks for sharing information. I've got 2013 Nissan pulsar, as my family is growing I'm thinking of buying an Elgrand from you guys. I've had issues with pulsar's CVT transmission, got it replaced from Nissan free of cost as they're known to have problems. Just want to know your honest opinion about Elgrand E52s, do they have any issues with their CVT transmission system? Shall I go for E51 instead?
Hi , I bought hiace for work and it’s in excellent condition and working fine . The only problem is the language on the entertainment system. Is it possible to change ? And the other thing is the map which is still stuck in Osaka , how can I bring this map to Australia. Any advice will be helpful Thanks in advance
A very well done video indeed. I am interested in importing a Lexus LS from Japan if it can be verified to be A grade and for preference from a non smoker but trying to sort your way through government web pages leaves you none the wiser. So can you let me know what is the actual age limit for cars and can it be done through you since you certainly seem to know what your doing whilst I’m a novice. Roger
Well, they have just banned pretty much petrol grey imports (only a few disability and sports cars are allowed). The future of Japanese imports is hybrid and electric cars.
Roy, definitely 98. I don't put anything below 98 in my imports. Some of my customers use 95 occasionally but I don't recommend. 98 will give you more more mileage, better performance and healthy engine life than 95. E10 will burn oxygen sensors and it's around $800 to fix. So, it's a no from me.
Thank you, Irina, no, not yet, but I'm planning to post a blog on this topic on www.bestpeoplemovers.com.au and link it to this video, thank you for the idea!
I am looking a subaru legacy B4 , need a help if i can buy it, also wondering what will be the price difference buying here in Aussie dealer and importing directly from Japan. Cheers

Appreciate the tips. May I know if compliance certificate is also needed for alphard and vellfire?
Sorry just saw your message. No, Alphrad and Vellfire are imported as 7 or 8 seaters. No headaches with engineering certificate.
Thanks, Natalia for the video!
My pleasure, Victoria! Hope to see you at my dealership one day :)
Great video. Very informative. Thank you.
Thank you very much Joanne for your comment and for subscribing! :) Nat

Ra grade a write off
R is Repaired on the Japanese auction forms .
Not really. Write offs are not sold at the auctions. RA means REPAIRED ACCIDENT.
