Andrew Carlstedt If I had to guess, it's probably because it's not reading alerts anymore. I've seen his past videos. The 12-262 almost never activated.

My Wr-120EZ's antenna snapped by something but I replaced the old antenna with the WR-100 antenna and it works even better

Yeah, I honestly think the HH is much better than the 522. I like them both, but my 12-522 is just so glitchy. For example, (this is in my recent EAS compilation) the 12-522 went off for an alert, but didn't play the audio. Then when I tried to turn it off, it did the alert volume set thing, making that SMW the second fail of the day!

I have the Radio Shack 12 - 991 weather radio and I love it. You wouldn't believe it but both wxl 31 in Syracuse and Puerto Rico Maricao my grandmother's station both operate on 162.550 megahertz channel number 7 in the radio memory bank so I can just put it on channel 7 on wxl 31 Syracuse and then when I get to Puerto Rico it automatically picks up Maricao signal loud and clear at my grandmother's house all I do is a signal test to make sure that it gets proper signal from the station and it works just fine. I'm also going to Portland Oregon so I will be bringing it to Portland to see if it works there I'll have to get my aunt's same code once I know what county she lives in as I don't know where she lives right now and she lives in Portland Oregon I plan to put memory Bank number 3 on any same frequency so that way when I go it'll automatically pick up the nearest weather radio signal and go off for any Portland Oregon radio alerts. yes they still selling I think I got it on amazon.com I use it as a daily alarm clock this is because you can put batteries in it so just in case the power goes out your alarm clock will never go out because it has battery backup

I think to fix the issue on the 12-521. Reset it. {unplug the adapter or remove the batteries then plug it back in or put the batteries back in while holding weather/snooze} if all else fails then look to see where you can get a new one.

Awesome collection! Now I want to do a video of my own. Also, as for the 12-991: they don't seem to manufacture them anymore, but you can snag one new on Amazon for $10-$20 (they like putting them on sale randomly).
I bought one for my dad for $11, and I bought one for me for $7! Now they're $12 ish.
Heck those thing are like $6 on Amazon now!

I believe if you look closely on the packaging, you may notice it say "WR-120EZ" or if it's not an EZ, it would say "WR-120". Hope this helps! :)

Most likely yes, but I wouldn't be so sure. I know there are still 120s and 120EZs floating around the stores.
What weather radios do you recommend?
Midland w120 is good for starters you can get it cheap off of amazon
Austin Hance Midland Wr-300 or Reecom R-1650. Highly recommend those two radios!!
Do you have extra batteries ? Do you have any lithium batteries for long shelf life and cold weather operation ? Do you have a Solar Panel to power the back up batteries ? Thank you for the video ! tjl
