- If some of you are wondering why my WR100s did not activate during the first 2 SVRs issued it was because they were set to channel 2 KHC27 and not my main. Yesterday was tied for 1st for being the event of the year. Storms fired late as the cap broke later than expected, first SVA was issued at 4:50PM. Supercells slowly developed in a 2 hour window after and then all hell broke loose. GSP and RAH traded warning after warning. About 1-2 SVRs were issued about every 10-15 minutes. Been waiting for action and finally got some! Hope y’all enjoy alerts on my collection of 72 NOAA weather radio all hazards

Nice catch. I had a bit of craziness with 3 offices but mainly 2 from yesterday and today. I caught almost 100 alerts equaling yesterday and today.

Welp I can confirm that the 74-109 is the Slower Siren version like how Ruskin Emergency Alerts and EastMelbourneWX does
Apparently it’s slower pitched
Yeah there’s also the 74-102, 74-105, and other radios like the Realistic 12-140 and handhelds like the Feldstein 1997A and Electro Brand 2012 and a Faster siren of the 74-109
I got a few of these alerts a couple days ago!

What is that thing you have on your computer that tells you when the alerts are coming?
It’s called IEMBot or WSV3. IEMBot is free and WSV3 costs money.
