- The E92 is finally moving under its own power! That said is an understatement! The HTG GCU controlling the DCT mated to the 2JZ makes this car MOVE! 400hp feels like 600+This which is incredible! This car has been an amazing build and we cannot wait to bring it out to all the fun events coming up!

@Drift HQ I'm genuinely curious how well it's going to work in Adam's A90 with the 8HP transmission. As so many modern cars come with a variant of the 8HP that never came with manual transmissions, so the possibility to convert them into "manual-ish" transmission is awesome.

Holy shit that is the rowdiest 400hp I’ve ever seen,that’s rowdy if it had more power. I can’t wait for this thing to get turned up.
The DCT Setup seems unbelievable. I might actually explore this as an option! zf5 for now but DCT > DOGBOX might be the play. The HGT stuff is legit!
zero to 60 and his guys did a good job on the clutch pedal of their e46 with a 7hp. Go check that out
I really like that you are so hyped, but ohnestly I have a feeling, that you don't know which factors are playing here that role, and not only THIS setup can be so crazy in feeling.. This is not DCT thing. Partially - it is ofcourse. But overall driver is feeling a compilation of GREAT response from the engine (good turbo), additional wake up from antilag (witch changes in a beast every turbo car) in combination with short ratios. EVERY car with good turbo, ALS and short ratio will light the tires up such way without having DCT. DCT just LETS you have it, cause you can bang between gears to have wheelspeed going. Same feeling you can have in every sequential...
You are right, it’s the combination that is making this car Xtra! The perfect size turbo, manifold and DCT all compliment each other. The biggest difference about the DCT in comparison to all the other sequentials we have tried using, is the flat foot up and down shifting, even though they advertise sequentials as something that can be do the same, they break very easily in drifting, we tried breaking the DCT for 3 hrs straight and we couldn’t do it.

@@DriftHQ that would be cool if someone where to do it. I know I can’t, I have to stick with my KA24E for now. I’m looking for help to weld or rethread the exhaust manifold studs. Some of them snapped and some where too corroded. I miss driving that little thing.
What dog box? The dct is not a dog box, its a syncromesh transmission . Not all sequential transmissions are dog boxes & not all dog boxes are sequential.
@@gmula1987 they are similar like the 8hp transmission. They are still great. You can make them act like stickshift or auto. Either way both are still cool.
e92's are such a premium chassis! I bet they will take over in the coming years. still building my 335i e93 vert, drift parts might be in the mail😉

Car looks great. I wish someone would figure out how to make the front and rear track on drift cars to line up and have front fenders cover the front tiers that poke ruins the esthetics drift cars. This one looks good deserves that one final fix.

i have a is-300 and i wonder how hard this swap would be i know its alot of tuning involed with the dct trans but im very curious and interested in doing this swap
With adapter and electronics you are looking at around $4k plus the trans which are around $1500 to $2500 depending on where you live. If you have any more questions, we can help you, just email sales@drifthq.com 😊

There's a e30 with dct running a 2.9L itb m20. Probably 200hp and it seems like it rips. These transmissions make a big difference.

That thing is guna be an absolute fuckin rocketship once it's fully tuned to 750. With only 410 for it to be that insanely fast n darty mid drift is nuts
