  • A major £10m-£12m development at Stoke City’s Clayton Wood training ground has been confirmed and is scheduled for completion in September 2025. A new state of the art building will create elite facilities for the men’s first team squad and will in turn lead to a renovated version of the existing pavilion being provided exclusively to the Club’s Category One Academy and women’s team.
The new building will increase the scale and quality of the performance, recovery, rehabilitation, gymnasium, nutrition and sports science facilities available to Potters’ players.

Very nice, great, unless you live on Riverside Rd or Rosetree ave. Then you get the police knocking on your door because the coaches can't get down the narrow road. This development is in New 8:30 castle, so they should have an access on that side of the Lyme brook. They are paying takes to Newcastle, why should the people in Trent vale pay the consequences. Put in a road on Newcastle side.

That’s the cons of living on a council estate I suppose. I chose to work harder to live in a better area that’s not affected by big businesses using adjacent land.
