@@no12578 Only thing holding him back is the team record. He can get back into the argument, he started strong and hasn't really let up. Just big changes happened to the mavs this offseason. Their second ball handler left so they're figuring it out as they go.

The man's damn near averaging 55 points generation per game. IF he has better shooters and the shooters aren't in shooting slumps for multiple games he can easily average 10+ assists given how often he gets double teamed, quadruple team defended.

I love watching Luka highlights. He is terrific and fun to watch. But if you want to do watch someone do this 40 years ago (and average 10 rebounds per game and hit 90% FT) do yourself a favor and watch some of Larry Birds highlight reels also. People who just think of Larry Bird as a 3 point shooter arent getting the full picture. He could pass like crazy, and he created the 50-40-90 club, and was money in the clutch. Luka is still young and if he stays healthy, he can be an all time great.

Luka is a genius, he always was, he already proved it in Madrid when he was almost a kid. And it shows that technically European players are far superior to North American players, who play a game of great physical strength and give less importance to technique. His vision of the game, his handling of the whole court and positions, his shooting, all of that is practiced in European basketball.
I agree. Numerous NBA players have stated also that the Euro league is a lot tougher than the NBA.
Euro league recently got tougher. American talent is declining people want to be 3 point shooters so bad and risk less injury
