"You picked a bad time to get lost friend." He's in the middle of your stronghold, at least have a little surprised like "Holy shit how'd you get in this far!?"
That dinosaur skull and Zach mentioning dragons reminds me of one of my favourite things from Warhammer Fantasy. There are dragons all over basically the entire world of Warhammer Fantasy, except for the continent of Lustria. Why? Thats where the dinosaurs live. The dinosaurs ate all the dragons.
@@heartlessnobody1143 I don't get what's so dumb about that. That's typically how conflicts go. For example, the American Civil War. The border regions were a bit more complicated, but most of both the Union and Confederacy was unquestionably controlled by their side. Whiterun is a border city, so the politics are more complicated, with the city being split between Imperial and Stormcloak, but the rest of Skyrim is a lot more set in their politics
"the dumbest geopolitics" don't use words more than 3 syllables to hide that you're stupid. It's okay, we all wanna feel like our dicks are big but wordiness is not the way to do it
I remember being around Jorrvaskr and my dad was watching. We both had a good laugh at how obvious the "secret door" was. I mean, you may as well put up a sign saying "nothing to see here, keep walking". Like the secret entrance to the Thieves Guild. For years, I would look at it and think "Hey, that looks like a button you can press. Oh, never mind". Then, I finally did the appropriate questline and...yep. It was a button the whole time and it's their secret entrance. Wow. How many people stumble into these places by accident? Must be a constant problem.
4:10 I love that you gave her Volendrung! She's probably so f*cking happy right to be wielding Malacath's trophy! Also possibly a bit anxious. She's just been handed the boon of her people's patron god, she better not mess anything up.
Aww you guys didn't save the wood elf prisoner from the Thalmor 😭 he can be one a companion. He's from Interesting NPCs and has pretty interesting story lol
Duraz mentioning the new life festival reminded me of the mod that decorates cities for the in-world equivalent of christmas/halloween/etc, that was a fun one to have
What? Stormcloaks would pick anybody of the street for help, one of the reason people have a low opinion of the dunmer is that they're not joining them or integrating.
It's even funner when you realize with dark elf lifespans they're probably the same dark elves that fled morrowind all those years ago. Its an enclave of racist grandpas. Also, you're dragonborn, you get a pass. I haven't seen anything but nords in the stormcloaks, in the empire I've seen orcs, high elves, dark elves, imperials and nords.
@@TheAussieBlue You can join them before it's revealed that you're dragonborn. I met characters that mentioned being ex-legion but never saw non-human legionaries in the field.
@@SinnerBeta really? That might have been a mod my brother installed then, it was his copy and I played it back when I was 17. Looking into it the base game has an altmer legate in a camp, and an orismer blacksmith in markarth is ex legion, along with a random encounter where a dunmer says he's off to join the legion. There isnt a single non nord in the stormcloaks apart from you. In other games i did see a lot of different races in legion plate - mostly orismer. But it seems that to save disc space every legionare and stormcloak uses just a handful of npcs. Looking even further, its just 3 npc models. Stormcloaks have 2, legion has 1.
if you wanna do a bit and command console the item onto the dude's corpse from the Hircine's Hunt or whatever sidequest, the reward for killing the hunters instead of the werewolf gives you a ring that lets you transform at will or something. i honestly can't remember how werewolfism works without it because i just always beeline it for that sidequest to get it, but the ring does make it easier
I'd suggest getting the Immortal followers mod. Since most followers in this game have a tendency to run right into the line of fire and get hit. Regardless of whatever follower framework you have running.
Making followers capable of dying without at least warning you was a terrible choice. Which is really fucking odd considering how many truly immortal characters there are in this game.
Not only does garlic not work on werewolves, it also doesn't work on Vampires in this universe. However, I think the reason they have it is because it can be used to make cures to poisons. They also carry hawk feathers and mudcrab chitin to cure disease.
hold up there Aela... skjor just died because he went in alone. right? *aela then blinks* "oh hey, there's more silverhand out there. you should go kill them... alone... "????
It's actually set up to give the players the option of becoming one early on. Since unless you have the difficulty cranked way down. Early game enemies can be difficult for some players. The problem is if you get it mid game or later. It ends up just kind of being something you can do but not really using. But then the Dawnguard DLC came out and actually made it worth using mid to late game. But there are a ton of mods that make the form ideal, if not better than the vampire lord form. There's also a few that caused the transformation to trigger when you or a possible follower reach a certain percentage of health. It was even one that let you turn vanilla/custome followers into werewolves, but I don't recommend it since it can break a custom follower pretty easily.
@@BenthewildchildE750 not at the same time, but in theory you can switch a few times. Both vampirism and lyncanthropy offer 100% disease resistance, so you can't contract the other while infected with one except through scripts. Prior to the Dawnguard DLC you could only become a werewolf a certain number of times before you wouldn't be able to cure it anymore, however Dawnguard introduced a system that effectively allows you to trade one for the other an infinite number of times, and if you wish to be cured and run dry with the normal method of curing lyncanthropy, you trade out for vampirism and cure that
Zach has officially become a furry. I do wish they had gone the other route with the Hircine quest, then Zach could have infinite werewolf transformations.
"You picked a bad time to get lost friend."
He's in the middle of your stronghold, at least have a little surprised like "Holy shit how'd you get in this far!?"
Instead of a werewolf
Zach becomes a Were-racoon
Chu chu!
and mike a wereduck.
*Still* cant get over the "plop" noise the blood makes, after over a decade
So many remasters and mods and nobody thought they should change it
To stay in werewolf form for longer you have to eat the people you killed it also levels up your werewolf abilitys

All the holds west of Whiterun are imperial, while all the ones east are stormcloak. It really is the simplest (and dumbest) geopolitics possible

“They’re not as hot when they’re dead.”-Zach 2024
to which Mike's reply is "thats true of most things" the implication being "most things", so are there some things that get hotter when they're dead?

A wizard joining a fighters guild? Now this is Skyrim!
Muscle wizard casts punch!
Technically, it's more like an adventurer's guild like you'd see in most fantasy anime
Zach's too square to join a circle
"If you wink, wink, isn't that just a blink."
That.. That is gold. So stupidly gold, Mike. Thanks, I hate it. xD
Fun fact, Duraz is voiced by the same VA as Hope (yes that one) in New Vegas.
"So, were mammoths a pre-Talos thing or a pre-pre-Talos thing?"
Werewolf zank here we come
I'm perplexed that Zach can talk in werewolf form, rare skill
Oh his voice is just dubbed in later for audience convenience. Mike himself is just really good at werewolf interpretation
Curses one of my many weaknesses orc women
Better have some monster blood in you if you want their attention. Maybe centaur
Surprised at the lack of doggy style jokes since zach became a werewolf xD
Hehe, orc lady. Big lady

2:53 Falkreath is Imperial aligned, but that doesn't mean this guard wasn't filled with seething hatred while the Thalmor walked by.
Nice "Hitchikers" reference. RIP Douglas Adams
I hope he talks to inigo after this
So glad you guys are still pumping out the skyrim content, gives me something good to watch while I'm laid up in hospital with a broken ankle

I always used the first werewolf transformation to kill the yelling talos priest
9:50 The way she says "died while giving birth to her first child" makes it sound like her mother somehow had another child after she was dead..
If zach likes orc companions there is a mod called Thogra gra-Mugur and also a bard orc called Yazakh.
On tonight's episode
We turn hcaz into a furry
Falkreath is under markarth, which’s is next to the imperial palace. Making it left of white run. And right of it is storm cloak territory
Oi! Stap' usin' dat AOE weird boy stuff round' the Ork Grrl!
Wizard Git! Some Boss of Mages you iz.
Insert bloodborne references here. "A hunter must hunt" is the- no wait i remember another "beware the old blood"... god i need to play BB more often
Now that zach is a werewolf he needs to head to falkreath and start the quest to get the ring or hircine.
I feel like as soon as this series ends Zach is downloading lovers lab mods
I love how Mike wears a wizard hat but never uses magic, but Zach wears heavy armor and uses magic all the time

Yeah, if you are playing a mage with aoe spells, your companion is usually a liability rather than help 😂
I sighed pretty hard when I saw what killed the atronach. It hit them in the leg just a few inches away from actually taking an arrow to the knee.

1:48 Take note that this whole time they're enamored by a dinosaur skull and don't notice they're getting shot at.
This was Great 👍
falkreath is an imperial allied hold.
I like Duraz's armor, reminds me of FE Awakening's Armour Knight a bit

hes been Skjorewed
Never seen a Dinosaur Skull in Skyrim before 👀👌
falkreath is imperial i just think Bethesda had one "guard" armor and decided that recolors were the best option
Zach and I are best friends in my head
You're not eating them.
Hell yeah Batman
