Zack and aerith are quite cute together, but in FF7 (1997) cloud and aerith met when cloud fell into her church. then in crisis core (2007) they had zack fall into her church too. and then zack and aerith went on date/walk in the park, just like cloud and aerith did in the original game too. So Zerith scenes are actually recycled Clerith scenes. no hate, just facts.
Yeah ok, but zerith happened before Aerith and Cloud (in timeline), so...

Well I guess they made that on purpose because even in FF7 (1997) Aerith said that Cloud remind her of Zack so maybe they decide to make him fall in the church and do other stuff just like Cloud (even if in timeline it's the opposite) but yeah totally agree about the recycle thing

Yeah Zack&Aerith’s prior story explained it all.. she treated Cloud the way Zack treated her.. She acts more Zack-like than Cloud’s Trying to be “A Soldier” ..so logically, how Cloud feels about Aerith is the Same as how he felt toward Zack. Of course it’s Not Romantic.😬 (AC Ending made a Clear Closure of how he sees the two- in the same level)
Zack will forever be Aerith’s Love as Tifa will Always be Cloud’s (how FFVII has been)
