  • The Image: What a classy boudoir Kitty has! So elegant! So Hollywood! (!)
(aestheticoftheimage1.files.wo...) Oozing nouveau riche style and opulence - and glad to see she has the obligatory "classy' white telephone as well - and a personal maid of course! (and the oafish rich husband)...
[As well as the obligatory secret lover later on in the scene - which I cannot show as copyright restrictions only allow clips under 5 minutes]
Ms Harlow spends quite a lot of time in the confines of her elegant boudoir - see this classy image from much later on in the film! - aestheticoftheimage1.files.wo...
    Oh, Old Hollywood!

Geeze I feel for Tina and Albert having to work for these two! Jean was one of a kind..... so sad her life ended so young. 😢

Mama Jean was definitely an infamous stage mom, maybe not as bad as Garland’s but still. Harlow’s death is one of the great legends of cinema. A mix of Scarlet fever, uremic poisoning, alcoholism, a brain amoeba and hair dye.

Please give us the final scene in which Marie Dressler is walking into dinner with Jean Harlow and Harlow is telling her about a book she had read. It's fabulous.

I don't normally do requests, but it really is a fabulous scene - and you asked so nicely. (I mentioned you on the description but happy to remove the reference if you want!) czcams.com/video/7DnuKMdBr3Q/video.html

Well, that's odd, not being able to see the whole movie, just the first 10 mts, well thanks for nothing.😊

This scene is not the opening scene (about 20 minutes in)
This is not a whole movie channel platform either; it only ever shows clips - the clue is in the name: "The aesthetic of the Image: [world] cinema clips" (See last word!)
