Wear-Test Thoughts: I am excited to say that EVERYTHING looked great at the end of the night! The powder didn’t need any touch ups, the blush was still visible, and the concealer didn’t crease!!! The lip oil also lasted the typical amount of time. Overall, I was VERY impressed!

Flower beauty has a gorgeous red powder blush in Berrymore that I’ve been using nonstop for months. Doesn’t look too harsh on my fairer skin either, especially with Flower’s blush brush to really defuse it. I think the blush trends this year will swing back towards peachy neutrals but red blush is so underrated
I have the huda beauty powder in the mini and instead of dumping it I just shake it a little to get it stuck to the sponge then pick it up off of the sponge with a velour puff.
I use the puff from the package of the mini Huda powder. Just untwist it and loosen up the cap, turn it upside down, shake it a bit and let the powder fall on the puff. The puff is quite practical. And it can be washed as well.
I do to! I completely agree that it's practical on the go.. and I also take a brush or puff and tap them on puff if I need a more precise application 😊
The tower 28 mascara is like a PERFECTTT brown for dark brown hair people all the other brown mascaras dont match my lashes either its black or too chocolate
I am 58 and in winter, my skin is so much drier. I may try the Fenty anyway. Thanks for your reviews as always!
Talking about brown mascara. I just bought the new Essence "Lash Without Limits" in brown and I gotta say it's more on the chocolate shade side. Compared with the Elf Lash n Roll, the Essence's brown shade is way lighter. I think you're gonna like it!

The Tower 28 blush reminds me of Daiquiri Drip from Fenty, which is one of my personal summer cream blush favorites. If you're looking for a bit more of a red pop, I recommend that one. I also don't find Fenty cream blushes quite as dewy as Tower 28.

I ordered both the soft mauve and rosewood nights lip oils and I cannot wait to get them! Everything looks so good and I have heard such good things about the concealer but I need to finish the one I am panning first before I will buy another one.

What's the BEST brown mascara in your opinion??
That powder looks really nice! I don’t know if it’s just me but I couldn’t see the blush at all.
I have peach undertones and cupcake was always too light. The peach HUDA powder is my holy grail!!!

I think there really is something to the idea that brown mascaras often have different formulas than their black counterparts. Case in point: the Too Faced BTS in chocolate. It is a proper chocolate brown that would not be confused for a soft black, black-brown, or dark brown. I do not like the black version of the BTS at all, but the brown is fantastic, in my opinion! It is a pigmented colour, it wears well and doesn't smudge or flake on me. I have oily skin and oily hooded lids, with relatively long lashes, so I have to powder my brow bone to reduce chances of mascara marks and smudging. I'm VERY picky about mascara, and this is one that works nicely for me (though I wish the chocolate came in waterproof). I've picked up a back-up each Sephora sale since this shade was first released. Now, what I REALLY need is for Rare Beauty to release a true brown version of their mascara!! I love the black and would really love a brown, too!

❤ Have you seen the new liquid bushes from Flower??? Also, if you need to try a dupe for Tower 28 mascara, the wet n wild mega length in the purple tube looks like the same wand and I liked it in their waterproof formula.
I'm hoping that with all these brown/black mascaras coming out that they'll slowly move to a more warm, real brown. It just seems like a slow process for those of us waiting for a true brown mascara!

I just got the fenty concealer. I wasn't going to buy at first as I'm trying to cut back unnecessary purchasing in the new year. I love my tower 28 concealer, so I doubted it was going to measure up. Watched some reviews and ended up caving lol. I'm really happy I did. I have oily skin and the fenty concealer is more smoothing and far less radiant on me. I also find it longwearing. I'm justifying it by saying it's equally as good, but different. 🤣

Kelly, I adore you and I’m a longtime subscriber, but I don’t understand when you say that Tower 28 mascara is wonderful, it just smudges. It does look beautiful on you though. Smudging is such a dealbreaker for me. 😂Can you elaborate?
The wear-time isn't great for me. If smudging is a deal-breaker for you, I would skip it!

Just shows how personal makeup is. I have zero smudging with the Tower 28 mascara however many other well loved ones do smudge for me.
I couldn't get the brown mascaras to look brown enough for me, but then I tried burgundy-colored mascaras and those are perfection! They look reddish brown on the lashes and bring out the green in my eyes. If you're disappointed with brown mascaras looking too black on you - try burgundy!
I'm gonna have to try the new elf mascara in brown but my fave is the lash clash in brown, it's a beautiful color and formula but unfortunately pricey. 💰
That mascara definitely looks brown to me on your lashes (less so in the hand swatch).
Is there a benefit to putting product directly onto your face instead of your hand or the brush/sponge?
I don’t recall ever seeing you use a Huda product. Did they go cruelty free? Or were they always? Then again, you may have used some and I just missed it lol
I have light medium skin and I wondered if the peach powder would work. I love the pink powders but some of them seem to be TOO brightening for my skin/undertone.
I think the peach should work! The brands says it's designed for medium to tan
I got a mini of the Tower 28 mascara. Seemed really dry. Wonder if it was a bad batch or if it was because it was a mini. I was bummed as I like the brush.
I got the mascara when it first came out and didn't like it a bit, super dry and flakey, I thought I'd gotten a bad batch so I got another one 🤦🏻♀️ and nope, still dry and flakey, I'd always end up with raccon undereyes and flakes all over my face 🙅♀️ ... to the trash they went 🗑️

I ripped the sponge off my mini huda powder so that product could come out and sit in the container so I could pick it up with my puff!
I’m so glad you tried the peach powder. I’m medium and I think I need it. I’m definitely more pale right now, but toward summer I think it could be great. Looks really good on you.
