Psychedelics is an altered state of mind you are the creator of your own reality, if you dont control yourself and your mental state then you may fall into bad trips, but those trips are also plentiful of experience, in general you will have good trips, but bad trips are also available on the menu. :D Trip safe!
Unless someone you are around purposely is messing with you causing the bad trip, which is uncool and should never be allowed. A bad trip is you telling you stuff you need to work on within yourself, learn from them. Psychedelics should not be taken from fun, but for learning about yourself.

The first time I took a psilocybin mushroom, it was awesome. I had so many epiphanies about our existence and the hallucinations were trippy and cool; your mind races with 1000 thoughts per second, you feel like your brain is a supercomputer. It even really helped with my anxiety....until I tried them again. Take it from me, you need to be in a good mood/headspace when you take shrooms, eat something beforehand so you're not focused on the stomach pain, have a friend with you, etc. I did none of that and I had a nightmarishly bad trip that resulted in months of night terrors, panic attacks, non-stop anxiety, pure existential dread, etc. It's been almost a year and I'm still struggling with chronic anxiety just from that, not even the PTSD I was trying to treat, but I got through it and while it was a horrible experience, there are still positive things I learned from it. I plan on trying again someday with smaller doses and i think most people would benefit from these type of drugs, just be careful.

Permanent side effects from LSD are definitely an outlier. That being said, refrain from using them without being on a peaceful state of mind, preferably not combined with anxiety, depression or stress. Self-medication usage to relieve these symptoms could be an alternative, but only guided by someone who knows the intricacies of the process. Conclusion: if it's your first time and you're chill, be in good company and enjoy the trip. 9 out of 10 times it's gonna be great.

I smoke a ton of weed. It gives me some really amazing mindsets. Like I feel on top of the world. I see visions and dreams I know I can achieve. But somehow I never quit smoking and go do it. That's the terrible part about weed. It frees your mind but your body can't go too. We gotta work real hard for those dreams. And cut back on the cronic. Maybe a blunt on the weekend is optimal.

The other plausible theory for our brains 🧠 doubling in size could be when we started prioritizing meat in our diets, bringing in more macro nutrient dense fuel for our body and brain.
This was around the same time when tools such as arrowheads were found by archaeologists. This could suggest that human civilization was now finding ways to hunt animals for food. Or maybe it was the shrooms giving our ancestors these brilliant ideas on how to make such tools for hunting lmao. All interesting to think of.

People do look into DMT. Look at all the ayahuasca retreats. Those are just long form DMT. But, you really shouldn't mess with the strongest psychedelic in the world unless you have had countless other experiences to lead up to it and have a valid reason for it, not just "to get high". And even then, it's not something to take lightly. DMT is NO JOKE. The only other drug that I can think of that could even come close to matching it would be Salvia., which is also no joke either. It has ruined lives, both drugs have because of how strong they are and their possible lasting effects, like personality changes and mental fortitude.
