Daymak EM2 Ebike Upgrades

I have finally got time to start this build. It will be a multi part video of what I do to upgrade the 72v lead acid batteries to 86v lithium ion batteries. New 3000w controller but I don't have the money to upgrade the motor. So we will see how long it lasts. Lol. Part 1 is the planning and removal of things to be replaced. Hope all is well! All good here in New Brunswick, i just finished up a 15 kw diy grid tie. Probably keeping the 36v bank out of the equation for now, not exactly a cUL rated product. 😂. Think I’ll use the 36v stuff for a pool pump this summer. Gonna try a submersible wood stove to heat it, we’ve got enough dead fall around here lately to keep it going no problem.
Just bought a hyper dual suspension e-bike last week, they dropped down to $598. Thing is a riot, keeping it stock. 😂.

Also check out James Biggar’s CZcams channel. He’s been building some pretty insane electric stuff completely from scratch. He’s got quite a shop and any tool he could ever need. About an hour or so from me on the mainland.

Thanks. I'm just having fun with it. See how good it works. Nice to have a fuel free vehicle. Was thinking about making it into a backup solar system as well. Sell it as a package with panels. 4.8 kwh battery bank. Reasonable to run a system on.

Good idea if I ever get a EV it will have to be two way so I can use it to power the house. @@frankz1125
