The one picked is not the choice over the rest as they all reached the same lever but a mere selection of one out of 3. Then 2 then 1 . One thing is for sure more people will remember Susan Boyle than will remember the group that won the contest. She is more successful and talented

I´m in Brazil /2016. Time proves everything. I just hear about Susan Boyle. She was supposed to win the money. She has the most inspirational story ever told. She inspires million of people and showed that we never have to judge a book by its cover.
Julian Smith was my personal favourite this year. Loved his instrumentals and was nice to see a musician made the top 3. Susan Boyle not winning was the best thing for her, she was already stressed over all the media attention, it really helped her and took a degree of weight of her mind when she came second. People saying Diversity went on to do nothing, they're still making loads of money now choreography music videos and routines regularly seen in music nowadays. Dance acts are never going to remain in the public eye the same way a singer might so it is naive to criticise them for that.
I agree she didn’t need or want that money. You could see the relief in her face. She’s had a long career and dealing with her fame contributed to her illness. It took her years to be comfortable with how famous she had become in 12 weeks.
5 years in the future and Diversity's name is everywhere at the minute and I can't remember the last time I heard anything new from Susan Boyle (who I like and wish good things for).

The best part about Diversity's win was their reaction. Every one of them had a different reaction. There was an "Oh my god! oh my god! crying face", a genuine "jumping up and down cheering", the "oh shit! oh shit!" all the way to the left, slightly bent over with hand over mouth, and of course Ashley's fall the floor hands on head in disbelief.
It's May 2018, and I get the same feeling now, as I did watching the live final. What an absolutely amazing group of lads, and I just love you all. Thank you for how your performances make me feel. May all your success continue!

It's okay. Susan was guaranteed a future career within the opening bars of her first audition. This win MIGHT mean a future for Diveristy.The win may not be fair, but it is just. I'm only sorry that Susan's instant world fame was so inhumanly stressful. She was all spunky vigor at her audition and by this point is looking fried to a crisp. I'm glad she was able to manage a smile and applause for the winner. I gather she was soon able to get some rest and begin to enjoy her new found fame and career.

Diversity deserved winning, they tried hard, they were training, sweating, neglecting their lives and family because of training for this show !! I'm definitely NOT saying that Susan is not a winner - she has a great voice.. but without doing or trying anything and without neglecting anything or anyone.
Maya89Original Singing also takes a lot talent and Susan has a fuckload of it. I do agree with you that singing acts shouldnt take up the majority of the got talent shows but Susan shouldve won considering that she moved the world with one performance.

In the long run, not winning had little impact on Susan Boyle's future success. Choosing between two diverse acts is kinda unfair because they were both great in their own right but in the real world would not be competing against each other.

You people are incredibly ungrateful. I've seen every act on the show, and they all did very well. But Diversity was amazing! They're talent isn't just dancing, it's a combination of creativity and imagination. I feel that's what made them really stand out. Not just casual dancing, or singing or saxophone. They truly deserved to win. Well done diversity!!!🤗

It's okay. Susan was guaranteed a future career within the opening bars of her first audition. This win MIGHT mean a future for Diveristy.The win may not be fair, but it is just. I'm only sorry that Susan's instant world fame was so inhumanly stressful. She was all spunky vigor at her audition and by this point is looking fried to a crisp. I'm glad she was able to manage a smile and applause for the winner. I gather she was soon able to get some rest and begin to enjoy her new found fame and career.
This was 5 years ago... And yeah Diversity had a great career in the UK performing in a variety of shows and having their own show too.
