A 19;01 speed run on one try, without resets, during a marathon as BIG as AGDQ no less, is absolutely AWESOME! I have been playing this game on and off since 2004 and have never achieved such a fast time hahaha! Spiriax, you are THE BEST! Keep it up and NEVER give up!
Ah, you got me! Nah, the game was actually released in 1990, but it definitely needs a sequel, especially given the way that the game ended!

Im here after watching AVGN episode of SF 2010. And this speedrun looks just amazing
One of the first games I ever spent my own money on. I would never say I did a speed run, but I did try to beat the game without dying, which was a challenge on it's own. Also I always considered this a mix of Ninja Gaiden and a shooter, like Super R Type.
I was eleven when I played this game for the first time back in the early 90's. I remember barely being able to finish it and just to be able to watch that ending. Just trying to replicate what this speed-run did is close to impossible. Congrats. You have to have such a dedication and love to this game to pull it off and make it look so simple. I mean just remembering that NES controller makes me just not even try it

Watching these AGDQ videos is like watching other youtubers playing their musical instruments with extreme talent. These nes games are brutally hard especially to beat within a very short time period.

Hmmn... I wonder why CapCom didn't go with spiritual prequels this storyline is totally on par with Amiga 32CD and White Wolf Board and Card games.
