Great video once again Sean! Regarding Geertruida, as a Dutchman I follow the Eredivisie closely and I can say that Geertruida is not a "stand off" type of player as a matter or fact I would call him rather aggressive. Not to the level of Romero, but he is a passionate and energetic force in Feyenoord's back line who is willing to take initiative both on and off the ball. Although I agree with you that a left-footed defender would be the priority I think Geertruida would actually make a lot of sense. He is very versatile as you mentioned and has played as a left back as well in recent weeks, he is also very comfortable in playing the inverted full back role on either side. Along with his pace, qualities on the ball and, importantly for our set-piece problem, his aerial ability I think he could be a good addition to our squad.

My concern with Giminez is not only his current years dry spell with Feyernoord, the red flag was in the CONCAF tournament where he went missing and that was the origins of his barren year. TBH even Troy Parrot has 12 goal involvements with lowly Excelsior and who knows if he was with Feyernoord? The Eredivisie can be a problematic league to transition into PL.

I think they might want to sell Richi because of all he positions we need to fill. I'd be ok with Gimenez and Guirassy as a temporary cheap fix for 2nd striker.

Remember Vincent Janssen? He scored 27 goals and 4 assists at Eredivisie before he came to Tottenham. Where is he now? Remember Gift Orban?? Spurs fans were all over on him. Why there is no talk? Is there any possibility that these players are going to be better than Richi and Sonny? I highly doubt it. People have short memories, value what you are having before you slip them away.
Great report as usual. On the Tosin , squad balance bit... maybe we are looking at Tosin because he might be rotating with Radu for that position next season.
I'm hoping Ange sees the light with Cuti and realises that he likes to roam and hunt down the ball, he would probably be better suiting in any other role than CB because of those talents.
Cuti would do fine in midfield, full back or even in the nine. I look at players like Di Maria, B Silva, Ramos, Kimmich, Azpilicueta and De Bruyne. All of those can and have played in several positions across different formations.
Cuti, I'm sure, as a world-class player, could play anywhere he liked. (Apart from GK and Winger maybe).

The Rashford talk to me is interesting. There’s 3 reasons why I could see it potentially happening (I don’t think it will but more possible that previously.)
1. Reguilon went to Utd on loan. The Glazers famously said they wouldn’t deal with Levy again after the Berbatov deal. The fact we loaned them our second best LB when they had an urgent need due to injures makes me think our relationship is now positive.
2. Ineos relationships with the club. They are a sponsor and Levy seems to have a good relationship with Ratcliffe. They want Rashford out, levy could see it as an opportunity so him being sold could be mutually beneficial. Other than PSG I can’t see him going anywhere else. Reguilon also seems to like Man Utd so could be involved in the deal to lower the price. They don’t need money but they want to lower wages.
3. Feels like a typical Levy statement signing. When Levy goes big on players he tends to factor in commercial value, PL status and sell on value. Because of his age and reputation if Rashford had 2-3 good seasons for us he could still be sold to PSG, Barca or Saudi. He also would attract sponsors and has a brand which would be attractive to our owners. When buying from other PL clubs sell on value, commercial value and international status all seem to be considered. Richy and Brennan Johnson who are starters for their countries play into this. Maddison has a good reputation and is HG.
I personally can’t see it happening as I think there’s a few massive hurdles to overcome regarding his wages. There’s no way we would pay them at current so a decision would have to be made. There could be some changes to the transfer market due to FFP and PSR rules which means they could be open to loan to buy with his wages subsidised but again that’s unlikely.
I personally think it would be a risky signing, but maybe we need to take more risks? In the past we’ve been too risk averse which has hindered progress of the club.
I’m against the transfer although it excites me as I don’t think we would be doing it for the right reasons. Rashford has the capability to be an exceptional player and has shown that. I think he could play well in our system but I have question marks over the time it would take for him to get back to his best and the pressure and expectations on him at the club next season which he has shown he struggles with.

I would like a big physical striker. Richarlison is 6'0 and decent in the air. We are a bit lightweight as a team so we need more physical players.

Calafiore LCB please. Interested in the idea of Iling Junior being a homegrown option as LWB/LW versatile replacement for Sess. Not my first choice, I'd like Cambiaso, but we have a lot of holes to fill on a budget and he's English. I'd like to go for Archie Gray as cover for Porro initially, and can progress into a midfield player.
the other point Sean about Gimenez is that now Slot is going to liverpool. usually that club buys the ex players so i would rather get him before any other clubs do...
Ah I dunno Sean. Gimenez is the one I’ve wanted since Savva alerted me to him. But there’s so many players that would be a great signing and I can’t see us getting any of them because we’re Spurs. It’s always a disappointment in the window. Not trying to be negative but it’s never changed so why would this be different? I’d love Gimenez and Palhinha. But I can see our window being Werner and Tosin.

Gimenez is interesting, last season he had a good season but this he seemed to expand his game, more intelligence and awareness and he seems to find space in the box and has very sharp instincts to hit shots at good angles that can beat or really stretch a keeper rather than hit and hope
The only concern is as you say a poor run in recent weeks where he seems to have lost some of that confidence that scoring for fun and playing really well gives you. It may be a nagging injury, they won't rest him if he can play enough but it doesn't help him shake the injury
I'm not sure if he's the best option, I tend to think Vlahovic is the pick for us or maybe Sesko who looks to be developing really well but there will always be question marks about adapting to the PL whatever league a player comes from
As for Sudakov he could develop into a great player, but for me of far more interest was links to Javi Guerra of Valencia now he looks to be a really complete mid only 20 but so much ability across the midfield spectrum. I'm not convinced that a lone 6 can cover everything needed and boost the CM area unless maybe we could get Palacios who seemingly can do it all. I'd be happy having two very complete players like Guerra and say Hayden Hackney who have the ability to provide the combined strengths of a 6/8 and still enough in their game to carve a few chances stepping into a 10 role

Every experienced Spurs fan who's had to live under Levy's awful reign knows that if we are linked with a cheap player on low wages then that's the players we're most likely to sign. Levy will sign one or two players for 40 to 50 million to keep the fans quiet but he'll make sure they're on low wages.

Giminez is coming to Spurs, I know so because he's the cheaper player on lesser wages and that's the only reason he's coming. He's on 34 thousand euros a week which is 29 grand pounds wise. Solanke is on double his wages at 50 thousand pound a week which is about 62 grand a week in euros. the fact that they brought Santiago Giminez over was perfect timing as there was a strong felling that Arsenal would hammer us. It was all a PR exercise, he's only coming because he's cheap and on low wages and there's nothing more to it. Hope ya'll remember Vincent Janseen who only has 10 goals in 28 games for Antwerp this esason. And Bergvign who could be sold by Ajax soon because they don't think he's good enough.

Oh please man, don't treat us like idiots as Rashford is on 300 grand a week and Ange already told us that we don't sign star quality players. Ange is a puppet who's told to work with the players that the club sign in order to receive a very high salary. Every player we sign is based on his wages or it's a PR stunt to keep the fans quiet for a while.

Sudokov is just another cheap young player on very low wages and all I can see in him is that he can do the basics well. There's nothing that stands out about him, he's not better than anything we have in the u23s for me. Alex Scott is a much better player on the ball a far better option to me but Alex is on 40 thousand pounds a week at Bournemouth so we won't be signing him now. Levy is running things, there's no data base system, it's a load of bullshit as per usual. The majority of our signings will be from lesser leagues, cheap and on very low wages. We're now seeing with Dragusin that he was just an average midtable signing from Italy. He can't even get in the team ahead of Porro and Davis and he's 6'3 tl.
