They had a huge reunion concert in 2014 at the "Hockenheimring" and even bigger in 2015.. you should do some reactions to that.. try to get the english translations. I think in 2015 there were like 400.000 people in 4 concerts.. There is also a documentary out about their controversial career and life..
Yes 400.000 Tickets sold out in Minutes. The onkelz had no problems to sold 1 mio. Tickets for 1 concert 😊 the Fans come from over all in the World, rich people, not so rich people, small people, big people, yellow people, Brown people, white people, people with Handycap. your appearance doesn't matter. there is no stress among the people. everyone is helpful. on the campsites you are like a big family and are usually welcome everywhere and you celebrate a huge party together without any prejudice towards each other. You should react to Onkelz more often, maybe you could ask "Highly combustible Reacts" because he has some videos with english subtitels. Onkelz are worth it and their songs always have a meaning or some deep thinking behind it A very good song is "No amnesty, for MTV" . In 2000 MTV wanted to make a documentary about the Onkelz. The Onkelz agreed, but MTV had a plan, they send a reporter born in iran and female. To prove how toxic and right-wing the "real" Onkelz are.... but they didnt tell the reporter or the Onkelz. When filming, they showed her anything, all the good stuff all the bad stuff and she was making a really good portrait about their long way. However, when the bosses of MTV saw her work, they went furious and asked something like "What? Thats it? Where is the naz* idiology? Where is the anti women, anti refugees stuff?" She answered "Thats all i have. Even if i wanted, i cant say a single bad word about the band" She was fired on the spot and MTV recut her documentory replacing pro Onkelz stuff witch naz* images and people who dont like them talking about them. The video was introduced by th presenter saying "Noone believes the Onkelz left the right-wing. And tbh, i can see why!" The onkelz knew what kind of video the reporter had made and when they saw the MTV version of it, they went mad (and rightl so) So they created No amnesty for MTV, to show how bad and corrupt and narrow minded the "mainstream" music industry is. Fun fact. Their song "No amnesty for MTV" did climb to No. 1 of the german charts, so MTV was forced to broadcast it ;) But exapt from that, the Band is NEVER played on radio or TV. To become an Onkelz fan, you have to know someone who listens to them and says "listen to them" i was handed a cd back in 1994, since this day, i was in ;)
Also... the singer Kevin Russel, is a very controversial figure, even inside the fandom. Because he had done really bad stuff. But we know that a person can change and that he has gotten a second chance. "Not forgotten, but forgiven" He was a "polytox" drug adict for almost a decade, trying EVERYTHING to get high. When he started to mess up concerts the band decided to split up in 2004, after that it went really bad for Kevin, he caused a really bad car crash and was send to prison. He got rid of the drugs and had a massive brain surgory, where they removed 30% !! of his brain . When the others saw, that he was "in controll" of his life they wanted to try it again. So they anounced their comback for 2014... It was like "That cant be true, can it?!" And oh boy, what a reunion it was.... 2014 was good, but 2015 was epic, by far the best Kevin for almost 18 years.

This band is successful despite the abstinence in the media. They turned their backs on the media because they reported falsely and heretically. Onkelz do not give concerts, Onkelz do festivals. No joke. Over several days. No concert halls but Formula 1 tracks are used for this. Böhse Onkelz = Bad Uncles The fans are nephews and nieces. One big family Through all generations for over 30 years.
Damn, I had no idea they were so big... Weren't Rammstein also "falsely accused" by the media for some of their lyrics? I remember comments mentioning that.
@@xsezz Yes, absolutely right. The media like to do this in Germany. Are against everything that does not correspond to the mainstream and is critical. Then bands (and others) are attacked. But the Onkelz are so big and their fanbase even bigger that the last attempt to put the Onkelz in the wrong light had harsh consequences for a TV station. The first time that a mainstream TV station has officially apologized ON TV after the fans stormed against these false accusations.
I mean the Onkelz are just very efficent in monetizing controversies and using every word that someone says against them to hype their fans into giving everything for them. It's actually a bit cult-like. Make the outside world hate you, so your little sheep flee into the safety of the own echo rooms and don't trust people outside the own community. I mean, you use the word "heretically" for media reporting something against the band (even if they were wrong, it's still kinda cringe to use that word in this context). And I write this as someone who was an Onkelz fan for quite a while and I don't think they are fascists or whatever. I just don't like the whole wannabe-rebel-shit and think their fans are annoying as fuck and they themselves are probably quite happy with all the controversies, because it allows them to live in some nice villa on Ibiza ;)

Dont swim with the mainstream in germany and u get dissed from all stupid people who dont look more far than 100m. Like the one short comment. He has no clue. simple straight forward kick ass Rock, with that lil bit extra melody and a singer that was my absolute favorit right after Kurt Cobain in the late 90s (Kevin sounded way better then!) ... I played the (better) studio version of this song so loud with open window that - when i went out - my neighbor told me to close the window next time. And i thought: How could you NOT enjoy that, you old fart :)
