- We had gotten a call about a disabled SxS with broken steering rack that needed carried out of Pritchett Canyon. We were on a job so we were preparing to go in the next morning when we got another call for a jeep broke below the last obstacle on Pritchett Canyon. So we decided to go in and get them both at the same time. Mike took the Jeep driver up to the top to help him swap an axleshaft and get him up the last obstacle, while Shawn and I went after the SxS. Everything went fairly smooth except for Mike smashing him thumb with a random hammer swing. Luckily he is ok and finished the job with a smile on his face. Thank you everyone for watching and supporting us.

Yep, we just noticed that. Something happened with the upload, no idea what, but now the delima of do we delete it and re-upload it and lose all the views and potentially kill are algorithm run or leave it... Good old electronics. Sorry for it but unsure right now how to fix it and lose the lease amount of money on it.

I've seen some big three jaw pullers that may have worked in this situation in a more controlled manor.

I agree not to many people can deal with their fracturing like this. As i a person who have smash my dumb and finger trying to hammer on things. Each time I'm hollering and cursing the tools and object I'm working with at thew time.

What you take those rigs up and down, with trailers or vehicles in tow, never ceases to amaze me.
Then those trail repairs, even with a broken thumb, wow.
And still get us pretty pictures of flowers. :D

Mike's a relatively quiet, funny guy with SERIOUS skills behind the wheel or dangling from climbing gear. Very impressed. Being out there alone is kinda risky, but Sean had him in mind the whole time. Great teamwork. Great video.

I didn't need to see the slo-mo replay of Mike disrespecting his thumb! I had the same feeling watching Lawrence Taylor breaking Joe Theismans leg on Monday night football. Oooo--Owww!!! Great video guys. The scenery was great again!

When you are really crawling, bumping and grinding your way up those immovable rocks with all that power, I just don't understand how the clutch isn't instantly fried! Just awesome.

I drove 30 miles on a smooth highway after breaking my thumb and the throbbing was intense! I don't even want to think about how you drove out of Pritchett with a fracture = bet you don't want to think about it anymore either Mike!

😢 Mike I felt that clear to Oklahoma! I am so sorry. I cannot imagine how much that hurt. That jeep even drew blood from the other guy, he was cool by the way! Not a wuss and dug right in helping fix his jeep. Someone watching from the comfort of their easy chair has no freaking clue how hard, mind bending and technical these recoveries are! This was a hard two recoveries, but everybody remained calm, cordial and worked together. No yelling, no drama, just that get er done attitude that wins every time. I love watching these recoveries but I sure hate the damage they cause to body and machinery. Stay safe and GOD bless

I’ve seen so many of these rescues on this channel and one thing I’ve taken away is when I visit Moab to wheel I’ll be sure to stay away from pritchet Canyon. It’s a pretty sure fire way to meet Rory.

The fact that you don't run threw clutches is what astounds me. Sure, you do replace them often. But the rate at which you do is skill for offroad driving.
