I think people think that Disney changed Ariel to include diversity/inclusivity in their movies as the movies are predominantly white main characters. And that's what they're upset at. I mean, if that's the case I agree, If your going to try to add more diversity/inclusivity they should just make new movies.
You know what? I was watching that scene, and I was like, "This totally happened in real life, no doubt about it!" And then, I thought to myself, "The director must've taken inspiration from this and decided to include it in the movie." And you know what? I was right! It feels so good to trust my instincts and have them proven right. It's like I really connected with the story on a deeper level. Such an awesome feeling!
By the final scene, I was legit like “this kid is cool”. Especially because as a kid, I wanted to learn to play the piano/keyboard.
Nah he was still a dork. Even his solo at the end sucked
