12 years ago, I lived a very sheltered life. I was only able to listen to christian music, parents told me rock music was from the Devil. One day, in my freshman year of highschool, I see this video. I was intrigued by the mouse head, and so I clicked play. One click, changed my entire life. I was enthralled. I was entranced. It itched a spot in my ADHD brain that no other music I had listened to had in the past. I delve in moar. I was hooked. I then found out about his live shows and so I watched one, and I realized what I wanted to do with my life. I wanna produce this kind of music. There have been other inspirations in my life, the late i_o, Rezz, Virtual Riot. But Deadmau5 has been the foundation. Thank you Joel for your music, and inspiring a young kid who was supposed to be doing school work on the computer, instead of listening to music on youtube.
