just bought the starter kit which consists of main plug and adapter , will the adapter still work as it will be 90 feet away from the router?

Hi I just got DEVOLO 1200 kit with 3 plugs and am dissappointed because I can only connect to wifi on 1 plug and the other 2 are have only ethernet connections which I dont want.
Does both plugs have wifi on this one?

Hey, When i instal the kit, and connect it with my rotor, search it the network with my phone, it doesnt find the network, any solutions for this?
+thijs Vercruysse Yeah I had the same problem last week after I changed broadband providers! I am not sure how I fixed it but Ill tell you what I did. So assuming youve set it all up correctly there should be two lights on the powerline adapter that show up green indicating that it has a sustainable Internet connection, this is on both the main adapter that sits next to your router and the other adapters in the areas of which you wish to expand your connection to. Once you're all "Green" Go to the powerline adapter and on the back there should be the name of the specific powerline adapter SSID that should show up on your phone (also the password). Youll need this for the next step! So using your computer either connected wireless or connected via an Ethernet youll need to download the Devolo cockpit application of which you can find from their site. From there you can see all the connection statuses, if you wanted you could also change the SSID to match your main router to save you going into settings and changing wifi sources all the time, so that you will have a full solid connection on one SSID and Password for the whole duration of being in range of the powerline modules. So heres the part that will fix the connection for your mobile devices - normally apple are the only brand of devices affected, so in the app go from the status overview page to choose WLAN Configuration then select access point and go from there making it the same as your credentials of the oridional router this will allow the connection to become a WEP signature allowing the devices to recognize it as one.

quick question mate. can i plug in the main devolo socket the "main router" one into an extension lead plug unit or do I have to plug it into a main wall socket?
Hi mate, sorry for the delayed reply - I have tested this for you and found that it works on some extension cables but not others - I do recommend plunging it straight into the wall however for the most reliable connection. If this helped you don't hesitate to drop a sub! :)
