I might get shocked or a bit defensive if someone hasn’t seen a movie I like or they didn’t like it, but many people can act insulted or that it’s “factually incorrect” to have a different opinion because sympathizing with a different viewpoint can be very hard. That’s not to say anyone that gets insulted over this is a bad person, it can just be a way of expressing how important that piece of media is to them. @@irxosm1 Not to be rude, but using the word “God“ doesn’t make somebody a Christian. God did not create us “to be happy and live a full life of no regrets”; that notion is ludicrous, and not found anywhere in the Bible. God created Man to know Him and therefore love Him; to worship and glorify Him, serve Him, and to do His will. A Christian would know that. As stated in Genesis 1:27, “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” We were made in His image and likeness, as male and female; aside from the obvious and self-evident truth that a woman can never become a man (and vice versa), it is an affront to God to presume otherwise about His creation. And it is the purest arrogance to assert that God is “proud” of a person who has committed blasphemy by attempting to do so. A Christian would know all of this. So there is no such thing as a “Christian ally”, because a person who asserts otherwise is no more a Christian than this woman is a man.
No, actually, God wants us to be miserable as hell. (pun intended) because otherwise we would have never been given "free will" in order to be the way we are. She also gave birth to someone who was only [insert birth weight] in weight and [insert length] long/tall. Ask her if she would prefer if you were still the same weight/size as when you were born?
Coming from someone who has a father in the process of transitioning (mtf, btw she still has us call her dad so don't come after me) I love this. Transitioning makes people happier, we're making lifestyle changes so she can lose the weight she needs to to get surgery. Over 4 decades later for me and still no regrets here either. I would never encourage anyone else to take the same path as I did. I did what was right for me. I don't live their life, they do. It has to be their own decision. There is no way back after surgeries for those who regret it and yes some do regret their decisions.
Same. I started my transition journey nearly six years ago, and haven't had a single day of regret. Things just feel right now. Obviously it's perfectly fine if people take their time to figure things out or change their minds. I spent a year figuring out how I identified. But very few people who get to the point where they're ready to physically transition regret it, because by then you've had time to process and make your mind up. I can't stand it when transphobes imply that anyone can have a moment of uncertainty about their gender, waltz up to their doctor's office that day on a whim and come away with hormones in hand and a date for surgery. It takes YEARs to get to that point, and all the time you're waiting you've got medical professionals informing you of all the changes and risks.
Yes! I especially hate it when transphobes say that kids are being influenced to transition and permanently ruin their bodies. When if they even bothered to look up the basics about trans related stuff they'd know that children can't legally transition with hormones or surgery anywhere. So, that's a complete non-issue.

As stated in Genesis 1:27, “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”
We were made in His image and likeness, as male and female; aside from the obvious and self-evident truth that a woman can never become a man (and vice versa), it is an affront to God to presume otherwise about His creation.
If God wanted us to be happy, then we'd all be living in a Utopia with no crime, plenty of friends, unlimited access to everything. But that's a cardinal sin, right?

Because i didnt know it was normal to not feel attraction, when i didnt have the same feelings and experiences as my peers I felt broken and like a failure of a human.

Your relationship, so only you know how to handle it.
That said, this might help...

I think being direct and honest with your feelings is best. I don't know how old you are, if you still live with your mom, then sadly maybe some deference is required.

"you'll regret it in 20. . . or 30 . . or maybe when you're dead . . . idk i know theres regret there somewhere . . . jesus regrets this for you"

That smile in transition and after tells more than thousand words!
