I have trigger finger. This taping would be no good at all. You need to tape the back of the hand to keep the finger to keep it extended and stop it locking. I taped the back of my hand last night and it brought so much relief. I also use deep tissue massage on the inflamed tendon to break down the adhesions. It’s improving!
What if, after 2 unsuccesfull operations and an infiltration the doctor discovers that my tendon in my middle finger is 3 times thicker than normal? That means I am stuck with that trigger finger for the rest of my life? I don't realy mind that trigger finger, but I do mind is getting stuck with my finger wrapped aroud something (a doorhandle for example) and not be able to get it loose without a lot of pain.
@@EmmaMorgan09 The only thing I can do is rest. I discovered that when I am working a lot with that finger : woodworking, gardening, knitting, I get more easily stuck.

@@Lulisette plenty of deep massage on the nodule makes a huge difference x
