For those interested these are not fake as some commenters trying to say. I have the scarlet heaven. Got off ebay and only got 1 flower the first yr, looking forward to more flowers in the second season. One unique thing about some of these peonies that is different from herbacieous is they will close up at night and on coolish rainy days. This is a very special type of peony and worth it for that alone.

No they arent silk, but the ones they are showing might be a little older weathered. Take a look at the Bartzella Peonies vids on you tube. and see what I mean. These are rare and not easy to find even now. I got one off ebay[bare root] for $22 that is a total steal at that price. Plant size like they were showing here $70-100 .
