Dr. Katz fan here from Trinidad and Tobago. I adore this show. FUN FACT: Jon Benjamin (Ben) and Laura Silverman (Laura) were an item in real life. And according to Katz himself, "the worse things were in their relationship, the better the show was, because there was so much passive aggressive behavior between them on the show and all the couple problems just helped." That explains so much.
On a prank, in the 60s, my dad called up the theater and let them know that my mom and he had changed their minds, and wouldn't be coming to the movie that night. Mom and Dad laughed.
What a great 90’s show. And the 90’s comedians were the best. Actually all the pop culture stuff from the 90’s was great. If in 1995 you had told me how bad everything was gonna be 25 years later, I just wouldn’t have believed it.
Hadn't caught an episode of this since high school over twenty years ago, thanks for putting this up for streaming. I got nothing but love for Archer, but this and Home Movies were the most creative cartoons H John Benjamin participated in. They both bring back all kinds of memories from my late teens,, this was on in the background when I was getting ready to go in the morning.
Wow, the yellow pages thing took be back to when I was 12 and my mom was yelling at me because she told me to look something up in there and I couldn't find it...lol.
I'm so glad I can relate to the era of yello pages. This new generation hasn't a clue what they have missed. And Ben up in that "treehouse" 😃 it was a cardboard box tied to a limb. 😂

Hahaha I love this bit....because it really happens. My cousin used to be a weekend anchor on a Canadian news station and calls would flood in if their "regular guy" was gone for a day and they didn't announce it.
Ben: "You know, earlier dad when we were on our 3rd or 4th break, when I was just standing there and I was sweating, I felt like a man. You know? I was sort of hoping that someone would see that." Dr Katz: "That feeling will pass, the feeling like a man. I go through that once in a while." 😂🤣🤣

Ah...Ben had the life. I had a treehouse as a kid, but it was like, actually in a tree. Like, thirty feet up in a tree, so it was legit. There were some nice plywood steps nailed on the stump of the tree. It was pretty cool, being perched up there....like a bird. A falcon, if you will....a powerful...purposeful....falcon. Then, one day, I'm in the treehouse, enjoying my childhood, and you'll never believe it.... The branches holding up the treehouse break So I fall thirty feet or so... My mom is going---- OH MY GAWD OHH NOOO THIS IS WHY YOU DONT CLIMB TREES EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU'RE UP THERE I FREAK OUT AND NOW IM REALLY FREAKING OUT!!! YOU'RE GROUNDED! I can't even go to my room for a timeout. I'm in a worse timeout. I'm outside, injured, in the dirt. I just fell two stories....and I'm in trouble?" She goes "Well, when you put it that way..." Then my dad comes by. He heard all the commotion with my mom freaking out and screaming... He's got his trusty toolbox in his hand... And he goes "Son, you wanna rebuild that treehouse? I think I fucked it up." Now that, is probably the biggest foundation for a joke you've ever heard, right? And you're wondering....what's so funny? --->My dad's a structural engineer.

I AGREE! GREW UP ON DR. KATZ.
