Facts. None of them said they regret having gone through it no matter how tough it was. They all said they've become a better person because of it.
Armand is from Normandy in France. He does speak French at home as you see. His father is French. Max's mom saying 'I'm glad your alive.' Max has a history of being clumsy--that was so funny. For all of the students, it was lovely to see how much love they share with their parents. Nati and his mom--wow--they look so much alike. Looking at the earlier series, Bobby and his family did not appear to have the range of experiences that some of his fellow students have had. The 1st series when the students went to Korea after HS, they marked most of the activities as 1st time experiences for Bobby. It sounds like his dad works--and Bobby and his mom have a very close relationship. There was an episode with her specifically that was lovely and she appears to be a strong, loving woman. As much as we all enjoy watching the different series with the students, as they mature, I think they will realize the full impact from the experiences that Josh and Ollie have organized for them. It really is remarkable.
