You need a whole pit crew to run one nitro, then you cant hear anything afterwards and are exhausted . . . nothin like it!
Man I have got to get another nitro truck! I love all the electric stuff now days but nitro is just cool!
Who ever has had nitro has at least struggled with the startup sometimes

TheGamingLucario especially after cleaning it and putting it always for 11 years... and forgot that the needle was closed all the way so that no debris would get in there... after that started after the first try 👌🏻
i have had 2. fuel tank would not seal and no pressure. also idle was for some reason pumped to max (half throttle) on my 5th run. im 14 so scared the shit out of me when i started it and it ran of with the glow igniter on the motor.
Need Speed RC if you have no pressure or you fuel tank isn’t sealed properly. Replace the o ring under the fuel cap. My friend had me fix his nitro rc truck back in 2003... I was like bro I can’t figure it out... I was about 2 years ito the hobby. He later told me, ‘I was bored and I took out the o ring 😆... sorry dude I forgot about it .’ 😆
The only thing I miss about nitro is the smell. Top 10 of my favorite smells.

Now have asthma due to years of tuning nitro engines for. Racing in my garage with the door shut during the winter. 🤣 Hasn't stopped me

The worst part is getting it started, putting the body shell on, and as soon as you give it throttle it dies

This looks like a lot of fun, I remember looking at pictures of the OG Mad Force in my Kyosho magazine 15 years ago. I’ve an old HPI Savage 25 that still runs, apart from an issue with power delivery to the rear wheels. About to get it fixed to get it up an running again.

You should buy a red cat racing nitro shockwave and review it
Try putting fuel in the air carb where the air filter goes it will make it quicker to start :) also check that your glow plug is ok

I had a bad lil nitro about 4 years ago and it was crazy fast miss that thang!
Yeah my Blackfoot with front suspension that barely does anything, and differential that is very slightly broken, and rear right cvd joint thing (not sure if that’s the right name) that pops out when I reverse and steering servo I have to keep tightening because it always comes loose is pretty cool too.

Bloody nitro for ya spend more time tuning and trying to start them then actually driving them
not for me. We've progressed and its 2019
Smells good and loud and funny but too much tune time.
It's like 2 minutes in total to start it and tune it if you know what you're doing.
At least they are easy to pull. I cut up my knuckles every time I try to start my HPI Baja due to the force it requires and the shape of the pull start.
@@cactus5443- Yep.. My Savage XL K59 Fires right up everytime. Just let it run for a few minutes to warm up and good for the whole tank !

Lmao....I dunn run nitro any more for many reasons..I hate blisters on my hands.
I used to be able to rewind those damn pull strings in my sleep..I became a pro at it.
Im guessing that what CVD for the center drive shafts on are for. :-P

Speaker and rc lover tmaxx is shit, and the mad force has portable axles so its not good for jumping
