Judging from their appearance, these people are clearly ethnic minorities in China, and the Chinese government has always been indifferent to ethnic minorities. They only develop East Asian races. The people in these villages are abandoned. It should be promoted like this

I cannot understand the West's demonization of China, what is the West afraid of? And what is so bad about Communism. Communism in China has brought the country from wretched poverty to an ever increasing prosperity. The crime rate is a fraction of what it is in UK/USA etc, the number of peole in jail is samll as well, in fact in China, there is a saying "Make more laws and all you get is more criminals" instead the Chinese believe in reward as opposed to punitive sanctions, and rehabilitation is better than punishment. If Communism in CHina is so repressive, how come thew Chinese are the most well travelled nation in the world, and when they visit other countries they spend more, and if China were so bad, how come they always go back home? It seems the West simply will not allow a socialist country to prosper, because if they do, they can undermine the myth that only capitalism and the love of money is the preferred choice of the world. Here in the West we say we have a choice of leaders, but is that really true? NO one has a hope of becoming US president unless they are rich beyond compare. And even if we get new leaders, we still get the same old policies. Because China has a stable government - they can plan infrasture, social welfare etc for years in advance, without the expensive and wasteful flip flopping we see in the West where lucrative contracts are given to friends that have friends, yet nothing gets done. There's a lot we can learn from China and one thing they can teach is that yes a country can grow, with resorting to invasions, wars and chicanery. If China and India could explore the potential of co-operatoin between the two countries could offer instead of allowing the West to hector India and suck them into a state of division, then both China and India could be a very potent force and show the developing world that they do not need to prostrate themselves before the West

As someone from Southeast Asia country with brown skin. Had been to China and India many times for exhibitions. To India more than 5 times to Pragati Maidan Exhibition Centre in Delhi and 2 times to Bangalore Airshow. Seriously after the first trip I never want to go again to India, but because of my work I have no choice.
Comparing these 2 giant Asian countries. India is still far away and totally not way near to compare with China. The cleanliness of the country, infrastructures, efficiency, public transportation, friendliness, honestly, education, disciplines people. All these India may take at least 40 to 50 years to achieve what China of today.
But when I was in India, all the Indians that I have met all told me the same thing when we talk about China. Oh!!! China is still poor and undeveloped compare with India. China cannot compare to India. I just smile and, in my heart just I am laughing and think how boastful Indians are and all these people have never been to China before.
Talking about honest and humble. Honestly, Indians are not honest people. I have been scammed and cheated few times at Connaught Place. And those wheels tuk tuk trishaw rider and shop touting people are the worst. They can keep following me asking me to go shopping with them and I knew I will be cheated and scammed by them if I go with them.

@@panyaboonc5621 , Bro, you can not compare to India with China because Chinese industrialization started from 1980 and real industrialization started in 1990 but in this case India's real industrialization started recently in 2020. So obviously China is economically and infrastructure wise more advanced than India. If you are talking about people's manner then you need to go to the country side of India or you need to go to the small town , there you will find people are very innocent and helpful. China is a communist country so people there are very sincere and discipline but India is a multi democratic country, so its inevitable in India that Chaos plays a major role in a democratic society. Without chaos there is no charm in a society that's due to multi democratic society along with hundreds of languages and multiple ethnic groups and cultural people all are living in a democratic country, so lack of discipline among the people is inevitable.
India now is focusing more towards industrialization and infrastructure development, it will take decades to catch up with the development of China. FYI, if pro industrialized govt in India is not selected in upcoming election then it will remain a dream for Indian society to match up with China or any other advanced country.

No good comes out of war between any nations on the planet. See , how Russia is now and how much of suffering in Ukraine.. China's urbanization rate is much higher than India's, and most people have moved out of the countryside. Therefore, many remote rural areas with a large population loss have given up construction, just because some rural elderly are not used to urban life and prefer to stay in the countryside. In rural life, ordinary rural people do not need to pay taxes at all, and they grow very little food. my country's grain cultivation mainly relies on large-scale collective mechanical planting in plain areas.

Therefore, China's remote rural areas are more suitable for Indians who like to compare with China. Only in this way can Indians be satisfied. self-esteem.

      Not exactly.
The land in China is publicly owned, and after the rural population moves out, unless expropriated by the government. Otherwise, land cannot be sold like other countries.
The vast majority of Young adult do not live in the countryside.
Therefore, a considerable number of elderly people choose to live in rural areas. Not so wealthy families invest their funds in urban houses and rarely decorate rural houses.
In rural China, the videos are the most backward in China. About 5% -10%.

Land policy in rural China is complex.
All have homesteads (for housing only), arable land (for farming only), and family plots. All land is not allowed to be traded outside, and the use right can be changed within the village under the authorization of the government.
When moving out of the countryside, all land is turned over to the government.
When a rural child becomes an adult, the government will give him a homestead. If you are engaged in agricultural production, you can apply for agricultural land.
Therefore, most rural families have multiple properties, and even own urban properties.
A considerable number of elderly people are unwilling to lose their rural land, unwilling or unable to live with their children, and stay in the countryside. If the family is not rich, it is less likely to rebuild new rural houses.

In China, people have learned from experience, never judge a person by his/her appearance. The wealth could be well hidden.
I think this vlogger ask her to show the true rural area, otherwise its hard to find it in China.
I am not Chinese, but went to China so many times since 20 years ago, and I have never been to any rural area. This is an eye opener for me too.

No, this is not her life, but every Chinese has a "Laojia", old hometown, where he/she comes from. Evidently she's living in Wuhan, not in Laojia,

A lot of thanks to that Chinese family for giving such heart warm hospitality, specially to both brother and sister who always speaks words with smiles ❤ this is truly a definition how people can become friendly even there's a language barriers, and yes the Chinese meal that they serve looks quite delicious and healthy too and that even prepare by a woman who is already above 70 years old, more amazing to see that most of the houses there looks typically indians, wonder to see how they make a little space to worship God just like us indians do the same ❤❤❤❤

This village is like 30 years ago in the eastern part of China. China is huge and so diversified. Like in my home town Jiangsu province, my parents built our first 2 storey house in the year 1984. At least at that time our house was all furnished outside with paint and decorated with ceramics. And we have carpet already. If i am not wrong the house costs 2500 RMB in total at that time. So although China was not rich 40 years ago, but i didn't go through real poverty in my life time. Every time i saw those less developed areas, i will wish them have a better life in the future.

It is important for politicians and media personnel to visit different places and interact with people to gain a deeper understanding of various cultures and societies. By visiting small towns and villages in China, they can witness firsthand the similarities and differences between the Chinese and Indian communities, fostering a better appreciation for diversity and common ground. Such experiences can lead to more informed decision-making and reporting, promoting global understanding and cooperation.
