My first car at 16 was a 84 celica gt. Old couple owned it before me from new, and it only had 115,000 on it. My grandpa got it from them for $500. It had its problems as most of the miles were low city speeds, so the transmission had problems. 22RE had zero problems.
My older brother used to have one of these cars. I wish I knew better than to let him sell it......Sweet ride!

Used to own a 1983 Celica 2.0 ST coupe, it was a fast and reliable car but the British weather ate it from the inside out which was unfortunate because the engine was solid.
