What a nice fall/winter wardrobe.The fact that half was thrifted is very inspiring! I will often look at items I love but do not actually fit my day to day lifestyle. I’m really trying to be concise of what I actually wear in my real life. You have been very helpful with this. Thanks. 😘

Really great video, thanks Val, and a lovely tonal, cohesive autumn wardrobe too! With regard to your shoes, if you get a really good leather and nubuck treatment spray, you can go out in really wet weather and your shoes will be fine. I live in Cornwall, UK, and it rains a lot here, but I treat all my shoes, and they never let me down even on the wettest days! Thanks for a fab video, best wishes, Kim-Marie

I used to be afraid of getting my shoes wet, until someone introduced me to shoe spray. Look at shoe care spray. I use this now on all my shoes.
My husband actually has that spray!! I just need to trust him with it 😅

I want a pair of hi top chucks soooo much, but I dont *need* them. I'm enthusiastically wearing my neutral skater sneakers, which are developing a hole, so that once they're actually worm out, i can start thrifting for those beautiful shoes... I have bad balance, so a colorful pair and a neutral pair of extremely stable sneakers are a must!

I love those everlane turtle necks. Do they fit tts?
Since they are stretchy they can fit lots of sizes actually! The grey one is a small, but the oatmeal and brown are a medium and they fit very similarly on me.

I LOVE your style- very much what I like too! I was wondering how you bought your jeans on Poshmark; did you know how the brands would fit you already? I feel like for me, jeans are so hard to buy (especially without trying them on first)!
The first pair of Everlane jeans that I got on Poshmark I just took a chance on. They have all their measurements of jeans listed on the website and I compared it to jeans that I had which was really helpful. But I also had to resell some that didn’t work out. I took a chance on these Madewell jeans because I’ve never had jeans from them before, but I again compared the waist measurement before buying. And they fit great!
But if you buy jeans for a low enough price then you can hopefully resell and learn what fits you. Brands like Everlane and Madewell resell well on Poshmark.
If I seller doesn’t have the waist measurement listed, you can ask them to check it for you.
@@ValKovalchuk I like that idea! It would be nice to try more expensive jeans by buying them secondhand- that way if they don't work out I wouldn't feel like I wasted a lot of money. Those Madewell balloon jeans are really cute and flattering on you btw! Good choice!
