I always loved how you said to your audience, "You'll do better." You *are* a good teacher.

Sara I remember you from your cooking live on food network - you are genuine and very down to earth. I will always remember you. See the state of food network with these stupid competitions. Your shows made me understand American cooking,.

Love you. We watched forever. Learned so much! Love your communication ability. My daughter dressed up like you when she was 4. And you were DEFINITELY drunk more than once.

Sarah I’ve always enjoyed you and your approach. I’ve also felt connected to you though never knew why until this interview. Now I understand that our values are similar and our journeys also have similarities. I’d been accepted into the CIA and Johnson and Wales (back in 1981) though wasn’t able to attend for financial reasons ( I wouldn’t have been able to handle a job plus school). I’ve taught cooking to middle schoolers and high schoolers and have gone into the inner city to work with the population that hasn’t learned how to cook much less cook healthy and economically. I’m a married Mom of five grown kids and struggling to invent a new purpose in my life. No formal education, but (I’ve been told) that I’ve graduated with honors from the “school of hard knocks-lol” and would love to share what has worked and what’s failed. More importantly, how to scoot around your failures to create achievements or at least more success.
Have also been a hidden fan of Julia Child. One of her kitchens (from the ear60’s) was the inspiration for my kitchen when we first moved into our current house. This house was a big fixer upper with bigger issues than the outdated yet functional kitchen, so I channeled Julia and it worked beautifully for five years. I even had the peg board outlined with appropriate spots for the pans to hang on (though I understand that was Paul’s doings). I’ve also got a son named Paul.
Would love to meet you some day and would really enjoy working on a project together. Keep up the great work.

How does Bill Boggs look almost exactly the same as he did 30 years ago on his tv show - I grew up with his noontime show as a staple.

@@Billboggs I have done, and if it's Mr. Boggs I'm speaking with, you had a wonderful way with your show and it was such a beautiful part of the culture at that time which was so markedly different. The niceness, substance and intellectual quality of the Bill Boggs show was indicative of the culture around which we now know is irrecognizable from what it was - I'm glad YOU'RE still here, I so remember you from younger years.

So much attention on her yet Sara Moulton seemed like a very ordinary, nothing exceptional cook to me - yet so much attention, tv shows and success her way - I did not find her particularly exceptional but she seemed to fit an acceptable and palatable image for tv and the culture.
