This feels like the fever dream I had that time I stayed home from school because I had the flu, played Gran Turismo 3 for a while and fell asleep on the couch

When the cars were still based on the road vehicle not Composite monocoques with silhouettes to look like the road model

I think as late as 2011 the GT500 cars were running steel roofs, but since at least 2003 the cars were basically tube frame cars.

As the american racers would say back in the day, "You win on Sunday, you sell on Monday!"

I think 1:12 will prove you wrong, the Nismo logo and chassis specs looks like it came off of a road production line then was taken out at the chassis level and transferred to the nismo facility specifically for GT competition. Its Chassis number GT001. That was their first run on the purpose built silvia for 1996. But the chassis was probably from the road production line, then halfway through it was brought over to the competition production garage to be finished from there, I know BMW does that still for BTCC. Theres a video on youtube of bmw making one for btcc and it starts on the consumer line then they pull the road going chassis and take it to the "M" garage to be built out track spec

@@tdxcorplol thats what the original comment is saying. You pull the car from the production line and add parts. Not make it a space frame then add body panels of whatever model you tryna sell

These JGTC body-kits looks the best to me and my favorites compared to the bodykits design they use now.

0:14 lol notice the regulations were so lax. on the Persons silvia, The gas port is right above the exhaust. image a small spill or dribble and you got a fire
