The Berenguer dolls are definitely great therapy babies I agree with you :), I have been reborning them for the past few years and working with the Alzheimer's Assoc therapy branches. I have been able to deliver some in person and it is the most beautiful thing to see the patient's responses to the dolls, so amazing to see them so happy. I hope you get the chance to do visits again!

I think your future plans and dreams for these sweet babies are wonderful, Tori! I just modified one of my own, loved the experience, and have been enjoying her every single day since, even holding her at night during a rough mental health patch this week. She's so comforting! I hope Judah finds a home very soon and brings that same joy to his new family!

Starlie and Ava are so much cuter and posable now that they are on cloth bodies! I have the one you call Ava but mine has factory rooted hair so I decided to keep her as is because she’s not really going to look realistic like that. I think you have a wonderful idea about making them for therapy dolls and taking them to nursing homes. I have done that as well and the people there loved them.

As someone who worked in a nursing home for 26 years in nursing, So many residents love dolls! (Some loved their stuffed dogs and cats.). You are right, these would make GREAT therapy dolls for them.
I found a beringer doll at goodwill for $5!! Going to change out her body to a soft body like you!! Love this idea!
