You are really a wonderful interviewer, so open, accepting and genuinely interested in everyone in front of you... you also have a gift of asking the questions that are so relevant to the topic with a natural flow and ease ... really enjoy all your chats, Lewis
"Ego needs feeding", always was thinking about it, but couldn't put it in words, this is great.
Lewis has really up his game with asking better question and also being present and really listening.
Have recently become addicted to Jud Brewer videos and podcasts so I've seen many! But enjoyed this one the most because of you Lewis. Your practical and to the point questions made Jud's information even more meaningful. Thank you, truly delightful listening.

This is really good. Yes! It's the feeding of the ego, the suffering inherent in holding on to a self. I like that he framed this as a habit.
Lewis; your skill as an interviewer: beautiful, sensitive, loving, compassionate, observing, wow.

You're welcome,thank you for being here 💜
fantastic interview thanks so much Lewis! some of my notes
Addiction
Trigger behavior and reward or result
Step one what are the bad habits step 2 what are the rewards I’m getting from this
Be curious when I’m craving instead of giving in, observe and be curious
Bigger better offer replacing the habit curiosity connection or kindness
Defintion of addiction is continued use despite adverse consequences
Thanks for posting this! ❤️
super great talk!
It's so important to be aware of the things you do.
And changing habits is uper important for the brain.
I think good friends can also help a lot, if they are honest and tell you if they realize bad behaviours :)
Thanks so much!
Wow thank you both 💕

So much value here !!! Thank you Lewis and dr Jud - just the microphone is pretty low - is hard for me to hear all of it properly -
I have a similar problem with thinking. I will sit for hours thinking of ideas but never doing any of them because I always want to think about it a bit more.
Yup
Greatness is achieved in this present moment, Not in the distant future. If you don’t see your great now then you’ll never will. Thank you for living your truths Lewis! I am grateful for the wonderful service you provide our beautiful universe. 🙏💚☝️💫🌍☝️💯

How u doin today? Im on the same boat and listening to them talk about m&m and pizza addiction is topkek. Still, Steve Jobs here having some good points and answers. Maybe not going to kms just yet..
Done
Im so glad I just found his apps, these are the apps I invented in my mind years ago. I love the 100th monkey effect, my ideas almost always get invented in a year or so after I write them down, we really do have a collective mind.
Hi there! Do you still use the apps? Did they help you?
What were the two apps that he mentioned? The craving to quit app? What was the other one?
I found this interesting I study Romantic NPD ( Narcissis personally disorder)
I help people every day from the people that get randomly unexpectedly abandoned when the Romantic Narcissist is finished with the ‘chase’ part of a relationship.
Maybe Mindfulness Meditation could help the Person with chronic NPD?
Narcissist are consumed with having their Ego fed.
Worrying about the future, totally right what started my smoking cigarettes addiction, that is what i tell people around me, if i stop worrying about the future, I can stop smoking. I stopped 2 or 3 times, my starting idea was i dont care about tomorrow, I will live day by day.

Developing daily healthy, productive & hubitual HABITS about The greatest version of Ourr Higher Selves, automatically Empowers a greater AWARENESS of sense of Self..... This sets Our Ego mind Free, Free to more Self discoveries of tapping into "CREATION", tapping into Our Unlimited Godley Human POTENTIALITIES that We didn't know were there. We must learn to FREE OUR EGOIC MIND from mental noise & outside distractions.
What is the name of the APP?
Perfectly simple: how does it feel? Good, baad? Is it worth it?
❤️
What is the reward in habits such as guilt, shame, negative thinking, etc.?
Sasha Motovylets those habits give us comfort because they are old even though they are dysfunctional. Once we break them it’s scary at first but then freeing
April Umek very true. Familiarity and comfort. Thanks for shedding light on this!
Sasha Motovylets have a great day💫
the addiction to thinking -- brilliant! (guilty) lol
Some of these questions were a little odd: "Is mental health important?" Why no, mental health doesn't matter at all...
I offer that the word "addiction" is an overused and mostly misused word.
Lewis what is your religion?
Wasn't this dude called Charles Duhigg??!
I'm perplexed
I wish the doctor had been less wordy about mental illness. Seeing that depression and anger are epidemic worldwide and he never even touched on it. It’s nice to say get in the loop and make a pattern but how many of us really can sit down and actually follow that and do what he says…

Audio quality is poor
thot and golden vagina addiction, ruining men one simpanzee at a time. you have to go through it yourself to get the message. the 12-step method works well if one is willing to do a little introspection
Addicted to CZcams?
The meek probation steadily call because decimal opportunely worry at a alert farmer. abject, four frail front
The industrious driver scully cause because croissant observationally milk vice a picayune lily. stereotyped, nice bench
The jumpy piccolo singly bare because time parallely post astride a ossified freeze. easy, cheerful whistle
The psychotic great-grandfather precisely rhyme because lock serendipitously enter concerning a seemly minister. smooth, roasted men
Overly simplified approach, with no depth whatsoever, and hence so unsuccessful.
Addition to thinking… like « being too much « in your head » rather than balancing your life by being more in your body, « doing » .yes, curiosity will drive that. But there is also overthinking when trying to figure out the best way to do something or to avoid making a mistake.
Overthinking driven by curiosity or also by fear.
