New sub, I love your art. The chat with your husband is awesome. Mine doesn’t talk to me that much and I feel like we’re missing out! Specially during this pandemic, the house is quiet, it’s kind of boring that’s why I do art, cooking, gardening ( he does too) and I do tons of reading. 💝

I know the video is speeded up, but it's obvious you are fearless when adding paint or anything to the images on a page. And it never looks wrong. Gee, I'm so envious....l hem and haw over everything. And it still looks lousy. Anyway, thanks for sharing!

LOVE this journal! Is the page that is cut to look like a pieces of coral (?) hand-cut or punched (Sixxix) or electronically cut (Cricut)? So many Details of this are incredible!! I’m going to check out W..A.S. ASAP! ❤️❤️❤️
It's hand cut from a piece of watercolor card stock. I lightly penciled the shape and used a "Slice" pen tool to cut it out :)

I have one of those green, ceramic-tipped Slice tools (hopefully we’re talking about the same thing - i bought mine in the US) as well as a lot of kinds of x-actos and scissors. I really enjoy paper-cutting and have for decades, but ever since I got my Jane Davenport Platinum 6 (I can’t resist anything of hers!) I’ve gotten a bit lazy (and obsessed with the machine)! I’ll try hand-cutting! Thank you again, for the reply and the video!

I have actually! It was a long time ago, I made a black travelers notebook with digistamps and completed the whole thing in black and white pens + markers :)
