The song LITTLE TALKS is about a widow talking to her dead husband and she doesn't know if she's going crazy or if she's actually seeing a real ghost, but the ship that they're talking about is their relationship that sunk when the husband died leaving the wife to drown in sorrows, metaphorically the ocean, and the husband telling her that the ship never sunk because their love is endless and it will cary her to the shores, the lyrics is them talking back and forth to each other.
I never actually looked at the lyrics to Little Talks before but they are surprisingly melancholy for such an upbeat song!
