This song comes from a concept album they just released where they play the characters Chip Chrome & The Monotones. So all the videos from this era has him painted in silver, and this music from this album is significantly different than what they’re known for. I really dig the sound though, it’s chill like you said, and it almost has this retro and sometime western vibe? It’s hard to categorize really. Check out Lost in Translation & Hell or High Water. Very cool sounds…
