    We don't need a manager who makes the team play like City 2.0 within months, but at least give us a manager who comes in and change the mentality of these players and shows us on the pitch what he is trying to build. I don't care if the owners are here for the money part but at least built something suitanable for the fans on the football part.

    Poch is totally out of depth, Chelsea's history has too much pressure attached to the club, Poch at Spurs the pressure is not the same, Psg possible pressure hence he was not really at that club. Poch is mid table manager not a an elite manager. Can not see Chelsea winning the next 3 matches Starting at Aston villa potential battering at the Villa ground.

    If Sean Dyche can come in and completely change Everton then someone can come in and do it here, if you're still Poch in at this point you don't watch the games and aren't a supporter

    • @tomteatom
      @tomteatom Před 5 měsíci +3

      Has Dyche completely changed things?
      Other than a very brief reaction to the points deduction, it looks like they're in pretty much the same boat as they were three years ago.
      Has Poch done a worse job than Potter and Lamps?
      Is his record not actually better?
      Who, in world football, would come to Chelsea, right now, and do a better job?
      Nagelsman turned the job down. He didn't like the project. Same for Enrique.
      Jose is not going to train kids and that goes double for Conte.
      Who comes, sees the project, is known for training young players, and will get an instant reaction?

    • @Stanko100
      @Stanko100 Před 5 měsíci

      True

    • @Craig_B
      @Craig_B Před 5 měsíci

      @@tomteatom Yes Dyche has changed things, without the points deduction they would be 12th, hats a massive improvement over them under Benitez and Lampard where they sat in the relegation zone up until the last game of the season
      Poch has a better record but you can't sit there and say the games are better to watch, we beat the bottom 3 sides (almost threw a 3-0 lead to Luton btw) and 2 championship teams and you think thats an improvement over last year?
      You can throw out all the BS narratives you want about a project, this isnt American Sports where you can just throw your whole season away for draft picks, we can be relegated
      Poch managed to make a front 3 of Messi Neymar and Mbappe look shit and you want to keep him here? He lost the league to Lille and the PSG fans were saying the exact same thing we are now and he had grown men as players there with the same results but in a worse league so we can't blame the players here
      Can you honestly tell me what our style of play is? What does Poch actually bring to the team? Why does he keep playing Sterling if its a "meritocracy"? Why keep playing players out of position? Why does he set us up or failure every game? Why does he leave 1 player isolated in midfield to get ambushed over and over again? Why does Gallagher start almost every game? Why does he drop players after a good performance to go back to Sterling who's shite every week? How many goals have we scored from a design pattern of play and not just relying on someone doing something solo?
      This isn't sustainable and Poch is getting exposed as the dogshit coach/manager he is every single week now, Boely needs to stop hiring Yes men and get a coach with some discipline and someone who can actually coach and is aware of tactics and positioning on a football pitch, once he's gone all the Poch in folks can follow him right out the door

    • @tomteatom
      @tomteatom Před 5 měsíci +1

      @@Craig_B Like I said, Everton got a bit of a reaction/bounce from the points deduction, which seems to have faded, now. They're still about as good as they have been for years. Maybe a little tougher to beat but honestly, Chelsea don't have the players to play a Dyche/Howe shithousery yeetball style of game, nor would you or any fan of any team seriously want that unless they'd been down in the doldrums for years.
      Yes, I can tell you that Poch is (quite famously) a Bielsa student, that plays a fast, aggressive, posession-based total football varient.... That's why you see players "out of position" it's part of total football. Honestly though if you're listening to pundits who tell you has no style, you need to tune in to someone else because whoever says that either has no clue or is trying to wind people up.
      Poch may have difficulty getting his style to be played by these kids but it is difficult, and takes time. He does however have an excellent record of bringing up youth talent and making them into premier league stars, at both Spurs and Southampton, so I honestly struggle to think of anyone who is more suited to the project.
      The project is important, though. I understand if you don't like it. Buying success and running the club at a loss every season is more fun for the fans but Roman is gone. Boehly wants to make money and he's decided the best way to do that is by buying some of the worlds best prospects and giving them to a Manager who's known for delivering in that area. You might hate the owner for choosing this path but it's set, now, so I'd suggest you get on board, because getting yet another Manager sacked or even going after the owner, stamping your feet, protesting Boehly, will do absolutely nothing, other than stop him attending the games and making him less invested in the club. Then it will be treated even more like an asset and you'll see a Glazers at Man United situation, which is the last thing anyone wants.
      At the end of the day you've got two choices. let Poch do what he's shown he does well, and guide these kids for a few seasons. it will be mid-table this season. Top half next. maybe competing for Europe after that and back at the top table the season after......
      .....or you can protest, cause havoc, get him fired and set the whole club back a year, at best, disillusion the squad, test the owners patience, get probably a slightly less suitable manager in, and gamble on next season things improving..... But make no mistake, that's a big, big gamble just to satisfy your momentary outrage at a result that could be reversed next week.
      I'd advise you and all fans to take a beat. Sit with it. Understand that ups and downs are part of the process and just enjoy the fact that you're showing marginal improvement year on year because if you don't there's only yourself to blame when things get a hell of a lot worse.

    I think a real serious coach like Conté is the only real option to bring a change and SERIOUSNESS to the club. The owners need to bring him in and give him full control, let him filter out the shit players and bring in what he needs to let us compete and get back to winning ways.

    • @krisphackett6855

      How do you filter out players on 8 year contracts? Chelsea are in financial trouble with FFP and will have no European football again next season. Conte is a chequebook manager, the complete opposite of what the owners want to achieve. Can't keep selling homegrown players as they need x amount in the squad to comply with the EPL regulations and there are only so many left.

  • @bluecarefreeforever

    Bad decisions from our Owners for not taking advice from football professionals who know about the game.
    Bad decisions from our recruitment directors to follow blindly with the owners.
    Bad decisions from our Physio and Fitness team at Cobham who seem to be unable to keep the players on the pitch!
    Bad decisions from our fans (some) whose immaturity bounces from one good game to a disaster and crucifying on SM to players and coach which they don’t understand it partly affects their confidence and the club itself.
    Bad decisions from our players (some) who now need to look at themselves and grow up and take some responsibilities here and become leaders rather than sheep.
    Bad decisions from our coach Poch. I’m with Nina what does exactly work just sacking another coach. Poch is a good coach and a good guy. He needs time. However the last two games has been strange decisions like Palmer in No9 and Nkunku as No 9 when we have jackson and other to sit in No 9 and Nkunku creates with Palmer. WE DO NOT NEED THREE CDM’s with Gallagher Caicedo and Enzo and if you say they aren’t CDM then what the hell are they because they can’t score and limited passing. Even José with the best defence of a back 4 and ONE CDM with makelele or Kante later then box to box midfielders like Lamps Fabs or Essienin front the CDM. We are too defensive combo. with bad defending as well! That is Poch’s bad and needs to sort this out!
    The club is a mess but the responsibility come from the top first down and yes many of you want to sack our coach again but what do you think is going to happen next? All the above I mentioned needs sorting first!!

    Quality and Mudryk shouldn't be used in the same sentence. I'd like to know who thought it was a good idea to sign him. Who scouted him. What did they see in his game in the Ukranian league that made them want to spend 80 million Euros on him. Was his profile and specific skillset (or lack there of) considered for the Premier League.
    When they talk about these Chelsea kids and their "quality" and "talent", I don't see it any I'd disagree. This girls arguing for Jackson who literally does not know how to head a football and is supposed to lead the line.
    Take a look around continental Europe or England and you'll see young players showing quality. Palmer is younger than Mudryk and you can easily see his quality. I don't see any quality from Mudryk. Fast as lightning, but a footballing IQ on level with an ant and a very poor touch.

    The girona manager will do wonders with this squad poch is just inept in my opinion, man city liverpool and arsenal dont need runners they need technicians , you dont need a runner to make your formation tick , you need intelligent players and that is what pochettinho doesnt see, that is why he wants to move to 3 back because even if you have a runner, you can pass around him just like Liverpool did to gallagher when their midfield run rings around gallagher and he couldnt intercept or touch the ball, having just a runner is not good enough, you need technically gifted players, for players like gallagher you can tire him up by passing and running rings around him just like mccalister tscoboslai did to him

    Chelsea fans are skirting around the issue i think.
    They’re just not very good, and I’m not saying that to pile on, but that team wasn’t great under Tuchel in those last years, it’s not good under potter and it’s not good under poch.
    The players you’ve brought in also aren’t very good, I’m a united fan and let me tell you spending money doesn’t equal success.
    Is Poch blameless? No, but the reality is that you’ll sack him, get someone else in, and have the same problems.
    The Chelsea thing of sacking a manager and getting success worked because fundamentally that was still a good team, with a strong spine. Maybe you needed a player or two but you were consistently at a point where a new coach would be the difference.
    That’s no longer the case at all. People over estimate the impact of managers.

    It's not about one person the manager. It's about the club in general. Why is it we get managers and players from the likes of Brighton, pay well over the odds and they never produce the same level of form? We can chop and change the manager as often as we like but nothing will change until the basics of the club are sorted. The UK government forced a good owner in Abramovich to sell and we ended up with American owners who have zero knowledge about football. I'm not defending Pochettino but what manager would succeed when behind the scenes it's a complete shit show?

    Sorry to burst every1 bubbles. But Chelsea is not going to hire a manager who will go head to head with the directors/owners etc. They want a yes man. The only 1 i can think of and is reasonably good is Ole.

    A manager's job is not to "change everything."
    Hiding behind all the problems of the entire football club to protect Poch after he's failed at everything in his control as a coach is cowardly.
