One thing is certain, you all hinging Chelsea's success on Abrahamovic's investments are sore losers who got jealous because someone outside the "traditional three" of Man Untd, Liverpool and Arsenal forcefully took a seat on the exclusive "doping table". These three clubs were poaching and picking the best players from other smaller clubs without resistance for well over half acentury, and none of you ever complained until chelsea started doing same. Many problems at CFC - owners and directors have little to no football knowledge at this level; players are League 1 level (Sterling, Muydrik, Desasi, etc), except perhaps Silva and Palmer; Many players don't have the talent, skill or passion to be in a PL team like Chelsea!

Boehly business model - buy young footballers like they do in NBA draft on long contracts. Get any coach willing to surpress his own footballing ideas in order to align with the process. Sack the winning team of the franchise you bought, my way, or the highway. Install himself as director of football. Sell your own billlion recipes to the fans without the right ingredients like a proper striker and leadership in the team.

What is happening is that Chelsea bought players for Potter and then Sacked him and brought Proch in who might not like half of those players.
The analogy is flawed. Caicedo and Palmer are good I agree, Gallagher was good in his loans. But Enzo (half a season playing decently in Benfica and coattail riding on Messi and Argentine superstars), Sterling (was sold partly because of his piss-poor finishing and selfishness), Nkunku (injury record), Silva (dude is almost 40 years old), Chilwell (injury record). These players are flawed and are not complimenting each other. Some of them just can’t do it anymore (Silva), others are lazy and treating their contracts as guaranteed pension money (Sterling, Chilwell). Not to mention the crazy money paid for the two midfielders who haven’t live up to expectations, and quite frankly they’re just kids being pressured to do a lot for a flawed system created by Poch.
