Shims can be found at dl.sh1mmer.me or dl2.sh1mmer.me
Important: You must get a crew shims for your board. It cannot be a raw shim nor a minishim as those don't have the payload section and raw shims don't even have SH1MMER on them.

How did you get the UEFI firmware on Chrome OS on the OS verification is off screen and pressing the 1 key without disabling write protect? I want to do that.
That was rw_legacy, not UEFI. If you want UEFI you must either run the script with the battery unplugged and charger plugged in or you need to jump the wp holes, depending on your board. More info can be found on mrchromebox.tech
I'm assuming this is only for unenrolled devices? Cause I know you can boot into shim but usually booting OS don't work
nothing is in payloads when I do it. nothing apears.
I am using a crew shim, and I injected the payload (with wax4windows) and when I go into the sh1mmer menu and click payloads nothing comes up. just black (minus the borders)

Bro when I press un enroll device it shows up for 3 seconds and then it cuts off and takes me back to the menu screen non of these options are working plz help
V111 patch. Download an image for your board from here: chrome100.dev Flash it to usb. Enter recovery(esc + power + refresh). Plug it in, wait for it to give you the checkmark and it says reboot. Unplug the usb, and instantly go back to recovery(esc + refresh + power). Ctrl + D, Enter to confirm, flash sh1mmer, plug in sh1mmer, go back to recovery. Then unenroll.

Yes use Ctrl + D to boot into cros from the os verification screen

Grabbiter is the subboard. There are many different subboards under the main board. You can find your main board in chrome://version. If that's blocked, go to chromium dash serving builds and find your subboard. You should be able to find your main board next to it somewhere.

I tried flashing a copy of windows 10 to my second USB but it didn’t show up when I went to the boot menu. What do I put on the second usb, and what program should I use to do it?
If you are going to dual boot, do not install windows. You will have a bad time. Little to no support for drivers, slow as hell, and just a tragic mistake in general.

On the last part of the video im having trouble with selecting the os. I have my usb with chrome os with the bin through the extension. Am im doing it wrong because its not showing up

if your usb isn't detected, your usb might be damaged or broken

use the extension, you need to flash the bin not store it
Im on chrome v112 octopus BOBBA 360, pressing the buttons just give an error and trying to downgrade doesnt work as it says the version is outdated when i try to recover to an older image. Is there any other way or is it patched already?

PT2 Make sure you plug the battery cable and plug in the charger: Do CTRL+D then do a powerwash (CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+R) Onc it done you might need to do CTRL+D then go into shell (CTRL+ALT+F2 to find F2 It is probably the forward button) then type "tpm_manager_client take_ownership
cryptohome --action=remove_firmware_management_parameters" they should say success, otherwise you did something wrong. Now get out of the shell (CTRL+ALT+F1 probably the back button) then powerwash again (CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+R) then profit!
P.S: MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT TURN OFF DEV MODE!

Depends on what part of the process you are on. You need the os verif screen to be active before you can sh1mmer. You do this by going into recovery and pressing ctrl + d. and then enter. Then you go back into recovery with the usb in and sh1mmer will load.

which shim are you using?
I was using my octopus crew shim. If you want crew shims, download the raw shim for your board and then build the shim using wax on linux.

They are all gone. You need to build sh1mmer yourself now at sh1mmer.me/builder. I don't know if you build crew or not.

you don't really need crew for repair
You are going to have to build the crew shims yourself via Linux. Git clone the sh1mmer repo and build. Good luck.

No. At this point, you can't really unenroll anymore. If you are on v114+, then you definitely can't. But you might be able to if you are on v113.

Assuming you followed this video, Ctrl + D should boot cros just fine. Assuming you installed uefi with wp off, you need to run mrchromeboxes script again to revert back. I hope you have your backups of vpd data and stuff if that is the case.

@Cringber167 If you install windows 11 or 10, your chromebook will explode. It is completely unsupported.

@ransel Lopez That's a raw shim. It doesn't do anything on it's own. When this video released, you could download pre-built shims and you wouldn't have to build them yourself. However, things happened so you need to build them yourself now. You have the shim file, so the hard part is done. Go to wax4web to build sh1mmer and then flash that. sh1mmer.me/builder.html

That's a raw shim. Lookup Wax4Web, build it there. Additionally, there is a 90% of it not working because it is full patched now.
