    So f*ng valuable to get these team-meeting insights.
    Seeing that this is exactly how you show up on your internal team events has so much more credibility compared to the direct-to-camera-videos of “this is what you should do”.
    It’s the “show - don’t tell” equivalent of good screenwriting and storytelling.
    Wish we had heard the QnA / feedback round at the end, too. Having seen a bunch of it on the MoziMedia channel was uber valuable.

      Does she run an actual brick and mortar business? All these people giving advice run online virtual business they don’t squat about actual big business.

    Wow!
    It's like you have a window looking into my workplace.
    So refreshing to know it doesn't need to be this way.
    A positive and supportive workplace will produce positive results.
    Like a garden with rich soil and a supportive environment will grow rich plants, the same goes for the work place.
    We are not plants, of course, but it's the environment that will cause us to wither or grow well and produce .

    I learned so much from this presentation. All of these learnings are so true, even in an everyday social context and not just for running a company. Looking back now, I could clearly note the certain types of reactions of people I hang out with.
    Now I understand the repercussions of my reactions and also the mistakes I've made until now. Thank you!

    Awesome! I always had the standard for myself that if only one single of my employees doesn't absolutely love their work, I failed as a leader. Your approach is much more aligned with the set of values I wanna display, than what's common in most companies. Leila you rock ❤️

    Hey Leila! This has been such a great idea for me but I have a question… what is the best way to give yourself positive reinforcement without it feeling fake or harmful if you are doing everything alone and don’t have partners/team mates? This is the situation I’m in right now!
    I’ve been binge watching your videos and the values you provide have been priceless! Thank you!

      choose to reward yourself in little ways - get some takeout you like, get a massage, have a piece of candy, watch a video/movie - just something to create an almost pavlovian association for good feeling/reward as tied to the thing you're trying to reinforce. There's lots of ways to do it but fundamentally, creating a mental association with a good feeling as tied to the thing you're trying to do.

    Thats absolutelely true regarding positive reinforcement. However this only works if you have excellent employees. It is not easy to find employees that are willing to work hard and create excellent results even in a very positive work environment. So my priorities would be - very selective hiring process and then applying all the principles that you presented here.

    I think she’s a great operator for the business and deserves every bit of success. But I just can’t get behind her story it seems exaggerated. I think she was at the right place and right time. In her early days I don’t think she brought a lot to the table other than being there to support Alex.
    Again, she’s earned her stripes for sure but I don’t like how she rides a story that’s not really hers to tell
