  • Ejiogbe is one of the Ifa verses that warned us not to look down on anyone because the person we are looking down on could be our helper. this Ifa verse also encouraged us to always do good to others so those good things can return to us too.

keep the good work Mr Olawuyi, are we now saying IFA doesn't see all things ? The reason for this question is, because if not for Iyawo Iku, orunmila will not be able to know the answer through Ifa Divination. Please can this area be clarify.

Ifá speaks in parables. For this reason, it is not easy to decode all what ifá says. Maybe this is the reason why Yorubas do say that "Baba aláwò leè fi ifá mọ ìdí kádàrá, ṣùgbọ́n ó leè má ríi tán"
(An ifá priest may use his divination to know one's predestination. But he may fail to see it all."
However, In this case, I think Ifa knew what was going to happen at iku's place, that was the reason Orunmila was told to take some of the chicken he used for propitiation along with him, part of which he gave iku's wife before revealing the secret to him.
