A bar/cafe in a reptile shop is one of the most French things I've ever seen and I love it lol
That's not a rule in France, and i regret it! But in the North, close to Belgium.... They do love beer and friendly chat :)

Ill tell ya what....functionality! Its so refreshing to see a petshop emphasize cleanliness and organization! Im a neat freak with my pets so i definitely appreciate the work they put in to maintain and the overall design!

I love that right as they were saying the forest dragon doesnt have a lot of fear it casually and fearlessly turned around on your hand deliberately as though he wished to interact more closely with you. What a lovely animal

This shop is so cool! I love the idea of a hang out spot that you can talk with other reptile lovers within a store. If I ever find myself in France, I'll have to check this place out. Looking forward to seeing their breading facility.

What a great idea, to have a little bar, where people can sit, have a beer and contemplate their decision to spend a substantial amount of money! Loosen them up a bit, lol I would shop there for sure!

Chameleons always look like they're in the middle of an existential crisis. I kinda relate.... Those cornsnakes are cute. Ooohhh they got froggies too 😊look at that pretty monitor! Well OK they're all cute. Holy moly mini dragon! That one looks insane 👀
As babies they almost seem bewildered at their own existence.
This is a 1h10min drive from my place, will definitely go take a look someday. Thank you for showing us around!

Dang! That smithi did a number on Clemént! It didn't look like it got him that bad at all. Super cool species, I'd never seen before. So awesome. But prettier than any tokay?! I beg beg beg to differ lol. Hardly anything can beat a normal vibrant blue and orange tokay.

It’s my dream shop. I follow them everywhere. Unfortunately They only ship to France and Belgium but one day I will rent a van and I will go there
0:12 awesome i love long tail lizards, definitely the only naturally friendly small lizard ive come across, most are too skittish
I wouldn’t say the smithii is prettier than a red and blue and grey tokay gecko but it’s just rare here in the US so you think it’s prettier. It’s actually well camouflaged but definitely doesn’t have the vibrant and pretty colors of a tokay
I love those shops tour so much, not all of us have the chance to travel like this, so thank you for sharing those amazing places ❤

Beautiful set up. The Eastern Hermann's tortoises (T. h. boettgeri) i believe are featured. The Westerns (T.h. hermanni) are very scarce in captivity and rare in the wild but are locally found in Southern France.
Exactly, there was a lot of cross breeding between the two subspecies and a third one (testudo graeca) as a lot of people had them in their garden as pets and weren’t aware of the differences I believe. It was like every family living in a house had a tortoise last century, now they require a permit to be kept like all local wildlife. Maybe profesionnal breeders kept Track of the subspecies to avoid hybridation but it’s very hard to tell the différence between them.
Glad to see that so much americans liked reptilis, we look up so much to the US in the reptile hobby, we don’t have as much legends as you, although Stephane Roussel is one of them. I have to mention Nicolas Hussard who is a pionneer too but sadly had to close his shop Reptiligne earlier this year. Much love to all reptiles lovers from all around the world!

Not "one of"!! This is THE COOLEST reptile shop I've ever seen hands down!! Kinda glad this shop isn't local to me, cuz I'd be broke & they'd probably have to get a no trespass warrant out for me because I'd never leave!!
